help me find lightweight carbon rim

Hey, i'm looking for carbon rim for MTB 29er, 35.6mm ext | 30mm int | 22mm - 240g

Does anyone know some good factory?

I've laced 28" wheel sets with timetec rims and carbonal rims both are good quality for the price IMHO.
240g for a 29er with 30mm outer is pretty light, drop them an e-mail if you don't find it at the web shop, they should be able to do it.
I've asked for rims with 160kg max load for a tandem and they at least can ad carbon fiber to bee frims up.

The more expensive would be Nextie Alpha 36S (235/245g?) or Omega 36U (260/280g) and LightBicycle Helios-XC930. I assume you aware of the later since you likely copied the specs from it. At 90kg I've been happy with my 260g Omega 36Us that don't have access holes called "tubeless-Ready". Took a bit longer to build but nice that I don't need to deal with tape. Other manufactures can likely make "tubless-ready" wheels depending on the mold used.

280g is still very light, especially for a 29er MTB rim, and good to hear they’ve been holding up well for XC use.

The full wheelset option is also interesting — I’ll take a closer look! Good price and extremely good weight. I'll check about maximum cyclist weight.

You’re right — I was already aware of the Helios-XC930, and yes, the specs are very similar. I’ll also take a closer look at the Alpha 36S vs Omega options. Appreciate the detailed insight!

There is a company called Porte that make some 240-280g rims. They are not Chinese but I Italian. Their prices are really good though and they are close to the nextie price.

This is my favorite lightweight carbon rim from Aliexpress.   It is a narrower rim than you are looking for.  I believe that finding a wider 240 gram rim could be difficult to find.

Lately I build the set for MTB marathons based on Carbonbeam rims (~265g 30mm internal), Goldix M160SL hubs and ALPINE HL 300mm spokes. It is 1090g, so for my 72-74kg is enough. I was racing them the last season and they looks petty straight.

My project with Carbon RIM + Goldix M160SL + Pillar Spokes, is around $600 + shipping. It's a wheel from Easedon Wheelstore in AliExpress. (1050 - 1080g)

Can you provide a link to the 265 gram Carbonbeam rim?   - The lightest advertised weight I've ever seen on Aliexpress for their 30mm wide rim is 305 grams for a 80kg riders and 335 grams for a 100KG rider.

Edit:  Never mind, I see them listed on their website.  100KG rider limit.  Makes it marginal for me at 95KG, plus I like to use my lightweight wheels for bikepacking.
