fo those who have this bike computer, can I ask if maps apre based on OSM or IGPsport own maps?
are ok for mtb, with singletrack? Could someone show photo of general looking of the maps?

...to add to this, have any of your reports been replied to and/or resulted in firmware updates? Do you reckon the speaker volume would be loud enough to facilitate an electronic bike bell à la Wahoo Ace/Garmin 850/1050?

It's OSM based but they are optimized by IGP. Therefore OSM cannot be downloaded 1->1 on the device.
MTB etc I have not tried.
Will try to upload a photo but need to know what zoom you like.

I'm looking binavi or binavi air for gravel/MTB ride, so just check how Maps looks for outdoor usage, at detailed zoom, 50 or 10 m for example

Last few weeks riding with the BiNavi Air outside. Elevation keeps coming back to +/- 2-3 m mismatch. Which is great given the fact that I am riding between -3m to +10m under/above sea level.

How does it work exactly in your case? You turn on computer and have e.g 125m above see level and then it calibrates itself automatically?

Yes but only when you start riding/moving. It does not calibrate when I leave is laying around my house.

For those who have Binavi air, if you import route in gpx format, the displayed route on device perfect match the maps and streets? I have Binavi and in some case the route is not too much accurate on the map, just want to know if is a tipical issues for this kind of instruments.

Last weekend I rode a 150km GPX guided tour. Although I haven't been looking at the navi continuously I did not encounter issues when looking at it.

Can someone provide an update on the screen brightness, early reviews suggest it could be an issue and wondering if it got fixed by a software update or indeed if the visiblity of the display has been no issue at all?

I cant decide between the binavi air vs bryton 650. I currently use a bryton 420 (adequate for 90% of my riding, everything works well between the app and the device). Looking to upgrade to a device with maps and route based climbpro functionality, the added offline routing of the binavi and better touchscreen is worth the extra cost to me if the display is of good enough quality and its easy to upload gpx files to the device.

Igpsport updated binavi’s and binavi air’s firmware. Biggest changes are in new data fields for cycling dynamics and breathing tymewear sensors. I also noticed choosable colors of route on map fields. Screen brightness for me is the same. Ios app hasn’t been updated yet so all new data fields are customisable only via computer. It’s positive that they still work on it

As a Magene 606 owner, I recommend the Bryton https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005011875566847.html, not looking at my interests, the climbPro functionality is apparently better, as is the ecosystem.
