Quite some footage of the frame in this video:

Notes:
- not the gravel handlebar yet, just the ‘old’ xmcs road bar
- the aero gravel frame will be part of the AERYS line and will thus feature the same name on the DT as the AERYS:VRT you can see in the background, but with different acronym than the ‘VRT’ (aero road).

How does the preorder work? On your website its says 50% deposit, but putting it in the shopping cart i see what appears to be full price.

I need to have a word with the webmaster (my better half 😉) on this. Should be 50% of the price obviously. Process is that you order, pay 50% of the bundle you want and you get a spot in the order queue based on date of order.

You can drop is an email at info@xmcs.nl with your personal details and which bundle you want, then we’ll get the paperwork done.

Ps: we are leaving for the Traka Wednesday, so responses may be a bit slower than usual.

Frame looks great.

I only don't understand that the bolts of the stem/handlebar aren't black. It looks cheap.

Beautiful, love how thin the fork blades are. What can we expect in terms of comfort? Seattube is higher than my current ride, the SPCYCLE G068.

will there be an option for mounting points at the fork?

The reason for the relatively low seat tube was to have a lot of exposed seat post, which should add some compliance.

It was a point of attention in the design. Looks like we’ll be able to try to frame in June, can give more feedback then.

At this point not - quite unlikely that will change.

Will you supply a headset cap / cover for non-integrated cockpits? I mean something like a headset cover with two holes where you can put the hydraulic hoses through but still run a standard stem/handlebar. Looking at the geometry of the XL size, I would probably need a very long (140 or even 150mm) -17° stem, and none such options are available integrated :)

I haven’t heard / seen the total package yet. Will give you guys a good overview with photo’s once we get our frame.

This frame will be build up by us, and it will be on display at Eurobike in June.

Can we expect something before June or will Eurobike be the ETA of pics as well  :D?

I’m all for it, but i’m saying the seat tube of this frame is taller than my current frame, so my reasoning tells me it potentially may be a less forgiving ride  ??? ;D

its literally the bike why i registered, so yeah the people demand a painted frame  ;D :D

and before forget: that pre-order price "fix" would be useful, its still the full price
