Can someone confirm the system weight limit for Top-Gun wheelset?
Is it really 100kg?

Is it possible to use a Shimano MicroSpline compatible freehub body on the Top-Gun wheelsets hub?

In my case I alrready have the wheels, two sets in fact, 50mm e 60mm, on different bikes. On these "Top-Gun" models, the hubs are the same. Do you know if the hub in that gravel model is the same too?

Got a peculiar issue with my freehub, thought you might have an insight on this.

So the thing is, a weird subtle grinding-like sound is occasionally coming out of the freehub. First I thought it’s bearings, but I replaced them, and the unwanted sound is still there. I have no idea what this might be, as it is not a constant thing, but it just ocassionally comes up. I think it is more prevalent when pedalling a bit lighter, it really appears at random as it seems. It’s driving me crazy. One day it just startet and does not want to fuck off.

Could it be the ratchet being too sticky? I’ve added quite a lot of greese inside the hub. Nothing is loose, bearings are still smooth at the back, I am a bit desperate at this point. I am 100% sure it’s the freehub, but just cannot locate the source.

Any ideas are welcomed! Thanks!

Im no expert on wheels, but I would completely disassemble to the hub, clean it all out and slowly add a bit of grease to the ratchets. I think that maybe you went a bit "over board" there with the grease

Also thought I went a bit too crazy with the grease, so I did clean the whole hub, but the problem is still there. I tried to record the sound on my phone while riding yesterday, have a look. Pls excuse my hairy legs haha. The weird grind sound starts at around 0:05.

I am running out of ideas. My last try will be to check if the sleeve in the freehub isn’t way too loose, but that is literally the last thing I can think of.

it seems the problem is the in the cassette body bearing, not in the hub body

Have you tried any other wheel in that bike? Couldn´t be maybe the RD jockey wheels? Or some particular sprocket?
Is it noisy while pedaling only or coasting too?
I don´t know, just brainstorming.
Is the rd hanger tight?

Also thought about this before. Already swapped my rear wheel for the old one, aaand the noise was instantly gone  I am 100% sure it’s the freehub

My KORE Cyclone CRACKED after 500km of road riding.

never flatted, 31-32mm tyres, always on-road, 85kg and with tubes. Sent images to KORE and they blamed the crack from a rock strike. They also rested on their 2000 sales and said they test EVERY wheel for safety (what ever that means?) Told me to buy a new rim and build it back up myself. Crap customer service and questionable rims

To be honest, it does look like you hit a pothole, or went over train tracks too hard. I dont think any rim would survive this. At this point be happy you didnt have $2000 rims on your bike. Ask them to sell you just one complete wheel as a crush replacement, at a discount.

To be honest, i wish that was the case, then i wouldn't need to be on here bitching about how crap the product is. Last carbon wheelset was around 1.5k and still haven't died after 8yrs.  Is the market accepting of riding wheels that will catastrophically fail if hit by a crack in the road or a pebble? inflated with a digi pump each ride, tubed and with wider tyres than the external rim width. I guess that is why the price is low as they don't batch test regularly. anyone know who the rim manufacturer is?

UPDATE: Kore replied saying the factory only tests for 'Radial static loading' and Lateral Rigidity' sounds like they skip on the impact resistance test.

Did you check the free hub bearings or the wheel bearings? Both?

I have a set of Cyclones on the way.  The new bike hasn't been ridden yet. I'm thinking of selling the stock wheels, chainrings, and even chain. I don't want to mar anything by riding it.
