Has anyone seen or tried this frame? i have only found one seller on aliexpress and there is only one reddit thread about it where it is claimed to fit 50c tires.

This is awesome, I might order to replace my gr02 when the price comes a bit down.
My biggest gribe with the frame was the hangar design, and the cable routing.
Seems like they fixed both 😁

Edit: also seeing now the wheelbase is longer, so maybe that will fix toe overlapping with fenders?

Guys both your links direct to the GR02 which still has 45c tire clearance max.
I have it I know.
I don’t think the GR04 is on AliExpress…
I have & ride 23 bikes
Also I ride a lot, like a lot lot

I'm looking at this https://a.aliexpress.com/_EwjQNSI

I don't know where that other guy gets the 50c the new frame has 45mm of clearance.
The old one gr02 has only 40mm of clearance in reality, I could bearly fit a 38mm in it

Then it’s not new at all
I bought mine last year, all pink, 45c WAM tire clearance

I even made a complete bike check video about it, got it down to 8,6kg full gravel setup

Funny how mine is so tight then 😅
Yours is the old, look at the chain stay and cable routing in the rear stay is different in the new one

Yes the GR04 has semi internal cable routing for the rear end and 50c tire clearance with the rear stay bending downwards. All the rest seems similar. I have found just 1 seller on AE.
Tsunami Bicycle have ot under the moniker WEAPON GR04 for the same price. Only 2 color options with a more discreet logo.

SEABOARD = TSUNAMI = WEAPON

I built a commuter bike of the GR04 it's pretty fun. Deore XT 1x12 drivetrain and contact urban 47mm tires 9.9kg. The rear wheel was not centered perfectly I got some refund because of it. But with a spacer and modifying the udh mount a bit I got it good enough.

I've seen some similar stories from other Tsunami buyers so it's a bit of a gamble but  I'm sure most of them are fine.

I wonder if they improved ride quality. The feel of steel is real.... my GR02 rode like a wood plank in vertical orientation, even w/ 42c (?) tires and low pressures. My carbon road bike on 28cs had more bump absorption
