Happy Holidays!
Personally, I wouldn’t run anything with only 3mm of tire clearance. Industry standard is 4mm and it’s becoming 6mm for gravel. I think you could get away with 3mm if you are strictly riding champagne gravel in dry conditions, but that’s probably it.
I finally have two options for the tyres:Option 1:Tyres Front: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 50mmTyres Rear: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mmWheelset geometry: Depth 45mm x inner width 24mm x outer width 31mmOption 2:Tyres Front: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mmTyres Rear: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mmWheelset geometry: Depth 45mm x inner width 30mm x outer width 36mm Of course option 1 is risky, since it theoretically let me keep only 4,4mm clearance on each side at fork.What do you guys think?
Hello, I don't know if you saw my post but I am using wheels with the same measurements as yours and I am running G-ONE RS 50mm front and G-ONE RS 45mm rear with vittoria airliners inside and no problem. There is enough clearance (6mm each side rear and maybe 5mm at the front)
Hi guys, does anybody have some idea about the max possible size chainring? I would like to fit 46t 1x, Jack said, that 46t chainring fits, but I don't know if I can really believe him. Cheers!
Is somebody using a 32mm inner wheels with 45c tires on this frame? I'm thinking on a pair of CSC gravel 40x41 with 32mm internal, but have doubts about the rear clearance.
If I didn't misunderstand, I have the answer to that on page 20. The Zipp rims have 32mm inner width. and have 44mm tufo tires with good clearance. =47 mm wam
46T fits. Probably more with dub wide. Jacks never lied to me from what it’s worth.
Maybe I oversaw it. SorryThat is exactly my plan 45 rear with G-One R PRO 700 x 45 and G-One R PRO 700 x 50 front and wheels Depth 45mm x inner width 30mm x outer width 36mm.Could you tell me how much clearance do you have at front?
It is tight but fits, I think I should be able to fit a 50mm on my side as well. You mentioned there is clearance for 5mm on each side, its seems to bit a bit less, maybe the perspective of the picture fake it a bit?. Did you mentioned once you have measured it at around 52mm total width? That would give a total physical clearance of 62mm, which I believe is a lot and not representing the reality.I trust on you anyway but I will double check with my frame before ordering the tyres. Thanks a lot
I just ordered the frame and this is my first every build.I will pair it with a sram force xplr e1 groupset, do I need adapters for the 160mm brake rotors?Or is there anything else that I should know?Already ordered a T47 85.5 29mm BB.
