looking ace! i have the same seat post - how on earth do you put it together? i took the rails off to mount my saddle and the pieces came apart and i can't figure out what they are supposed to be like. also how do you secure the seat post in the frame? is it that silver piece pushing against the seat post?

Yes it was difficult to fit it in, I had to demount the seatpost from frame put everything together and mount it to frame again.
Yes, the silver plate with certain rugosity on the inner side is the part you need to put to clamp the seatpost. Do not apply any grease there

Small would likely fit me but I have also been looking at sizing down for a more aggressive fit. 15mm lower stack whilst only losing 10mm from the top tube, seat tube and head tube angles remain the same and wheelbase only reduces by 9mm. My biggest concern is with the seat tube length and weather the frame will look ridiculously small with a 440mm seat tube. Maybe not as bad as the 316 with a 410mm seat tube. I am planning to do more of a gravel racing build that can also be used on the road as a "winter road bike" so I want a fairly aggressive fit. I was considering the fm296/gr201 but I don't like the look of the longer seat stays and steeper head tube angle.

Hey guys, just finished two builds on this frame, both are size M, weight is just below 9 kg with pedals, really happy with it.

I just have a small issue with the magnetic downtube storage cover, as it comes off really easily, it came off with 0,5 l bottle when hitting a small bump at moderate speed. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Are you having issues with the storage cover on both frames? A couple of weeks ago I received a video of the painted frame, with the cover, but a day or two later I was told that the storage cover was loose and the entire frame had to be made and painted again.

Yes on both frames, I wouldn't say it is loose, it doesnt rattle and without bottle it is all good. I just can't really imagine that weak magnet holding a water bottle securely.

Two possible solutions, that i came up with are having a velcro strap over the cover, or drilling a hole into the cover and making some kind of mechanical lock mechanism that locks it in place from inside.

No issue with the magnet, today I rode with 0.75L bottle and made its job. Way was a bumpy one, actually some water went oout due to vibration but it worked.

I wanted to ask you which handlebar and stem have you mounted. I am thinking in building a second one for my wife and it seems to be a good choice. Thanks

So far, I've more or less just used my FM366 as an all-road/endurance bike, clocking 1,200 km in two weeks, including a 600 km brevet and a 300 km ride from Berlin to the Brocken. The storage cover sits rock-solid in the frame. Even with a big 800 ml bottle, it stays where it should on rough pavé. Longer gravel/off-road rides are soon to come.
