This is my almost finished build. Didn't know that you need an adapter to use 160 mm disc for rear brake, so I couldn't finish it. I've decided to order 140mm rotor instead of using an adapter.

Also, when shortening hoses and placing new inserts I've must have somehow twisted or shoved rear brake hose so now my handlebar steers right. I will have to disassemble the headset and correct it.

Thanks to this forum I have the r8rs manual containing exploded views and torque specs, which made the work easier for me. I've built many bikes before, but none with full integral headset and di2 groupset, it was nice learning experience.

EDIT: Concerning the stack and geo numbers. Yes, it seems that it really is off by sth like 3 cm, which should be substracted from official figure. Originally I thought I am gonna slap that Y stem, but now it seems I am gonna be a multiple spacer fred.

Great looking build. When I had the issue with handlebars turning to one side it was because I left too much of the antirattling foam on my brake lines.

Has anyone had any riding reviews on this yet?  I have a Tideace CR068 which I like but have a new bike itch.

The short rear end and wheelbase appeal (and I have the Tideace for longer rides) but something similar to my 3T Strada appeals.

Just would have liked to get some more reviews before I commit, especially as it looks like this would have to be my first electronic shifting investment.

Thanks!

It really is fast. I wouldn't expect to steal any KOMs in my early 40s, and here we go.

Friend of mine was complaining that he had to pedal hard to maintain contact when descending, while I was freewheeling.

Tell your friend to gain weight and / or get more aero lol ;)

Well, there were two friends at the descent. The one weighing 60 something kg got dropped immediately, and the other one with almost same weight (83kg) as me (84kg) was trying to draft behind me. His bike was carbon canyon endurance. The aero factor really makes the difference, when do you compare avenger r8rs to non aero frames. But I guess it is hardly news for anyone, nevertheless I do personally enjoy this discovery. The faster you ride, the faster you ride :)
