Ridenow TPMS sensors from AliExpress?

Looks interesting if they actually work. Seems like they would work with both tubes and tubeless setups since they screw on top of a presta valve, and they're not much bigger than valve caps. Having real-time tire pressure monitoring would be cool especially on my gravel bike.

No idea about compatibility... I have a Karoo 3 and waiting to hear from seller whether it is supported which is the only reason I haven't bought it yet. Curious if anyone here has any experience with these.

So in my opinion it doesn't make much sense at least considering the price, the reviews don't seem to be that great either, you can read about incorrect readings of up to 1psi difference and not all computers read these devices so for me it's a no-go.

According to the user manual they are only compatible with Garmin through the iQ app datafiled.

I bought it and I'm still testing it. I thought that it's not working very good and properly, but my standard pump is damaged! So, the connection is a pain in the a@@, with the phone. I was not able to do that. Fortunately, I was able to connect it with no issues with my garmin, showing all the data correctly.

It's a wonky looking piece of tech and honestly I don't really know how useful it would be to me personally but I like that it exists. Could be useful to just get a better sense of where you like your pressures. Also for field testing I guess.

Honestly pretty cool piece of tech but a bit half baked. Looks like I’ll have to wait for a v2 version that is hopefully compatible with more than just Garmin computers though.

It’s a lot cheaper than existing options like tyrewiz or a whole zipp wheel, and I like how easy it would be to swap onto different bikes.

I don’t think we are the targets, but the urban electric biking crowd that never check their bike really, that could be interesting. A friend of mine in Paris was telling me he bike (a 70lbs beast) was feeeling lose when braking. I told her to check pressures, she went to her LBS, 12psi pressure in rear tire…

I have a pair of these. They're... interesting. 

- They're damn ugly when installed 
- Since they're not in-line like the TyreWiz or OutRider, you'll only know your tyre pressure after you've pumped up your tyres and installed these.
- You'll be screwing these on and off every ride if you're running tubeless (to top up pressures).
- You lose a small amount of pressure installing these as they screw on. 
- Having to install TWO ConnectIQ apps is a faff. The IOS app isn't working too well for me either. I'll try the Android version when I get a chance. 
- They don't save data to the FIT file (TyreWiz and OutRider do this, and I find it useful).

One thing to remember is the current limitation on Garmin EDGE units of THREE Bluetooth sensors (phone connection isn't included in this limit). Using two of these sensors leaves only one spare Bluetooth sensor connection. Something to take into account longer term.

The OutRider sensors are a much neater option, they're in-line, invisible, and require less faff with only one ConnectIQ app (they also have support on Karoo units). These can also be bridged via a mobile phone to the bike computer meaning they don't consume any of the three Bluetooth connection slots on an EDGE. I have them on a set of gravel wheels and they're set and forget.

they arnt much cheaper than the sks airspy and they look really goofy, i like the idea but it doesnt seem worth the money
