Any idea on frame weight?

I can't see it in the chat, but I may be blind.

I'm looking to build a light weight, aero gravel bike this year, but the current frames available are out of my target price bracket.

Aero Gravel AND light? Affordable ? You’re dreaming pal. Most +/- Gravel frames are around 1200g I know EVOLVE will release one that weighs 750g or something CRAZY like that but it will cost north of $2,000

The LIGHTCARBON could be around 1000-1100g max hopefully

I am waiting for the May 10th release of the Evolve Cima GR. Then I will make a decision between these bikes, their geometry, and colors. This will replace my gravel bike and my endurance bikes. I MIGHT one day get down to two bikes (until N+1 creeps back in). I have the evolve Cima and it replaced my 2.5 year old Sworks. It is better than the SL8 and the parts that came with it are phenomenal, and the claimed weight tracked (which almost never happens).

I dont understand the super short reach even in size L its shorter than most medium frame.
Its a pain to find a frame for monkey arms like  me with normal inseam... +13cm ape index ahha

The Cima only clears a 50 as advertised. We are yet to see if that's ETRTO 50 (aka +6mm so WILL clear a proper tyre) or not.

The LC is apparently 50c max tire clearance, but disappointing.
The EVOLVE Gravel will be AT LEAST TWICE the price of the LC though…!!

EVOLVE = $2,000

I’m just disappointed in their new HBR18 GRAVEL bars which are just 38cm at the narrowest and not 36cm… for an AERO gravel frameset.

Have you messaged them about real tire clearance? 50mm WAM with how much room on each side? I did ask, but reply i got from Wendy was that she didnt have a frame there to measure width...

38cm is quite small for gravel i think. I usually size my gravel handlebars about my shoulder width or 2cm wider, then angle shifters inward so drops are quite wide for control and hoods are about 2cm narrower than shoulder width. So in my case ~38cm shoulders, 38-40cm bar, holds more like 36cm apart.
Now when i ordered handlebars for upcoming Mondince fm126 build, i choose 36cm bars, but that is because it is an aero road bike.

Any brand whose smallest size isn't exactly at the limits of UCI rules - 34 tops 38.5ish lower c-c is a waste of time for racing and so it always surprises me.

Obviously, people want wider options, but 36 feels pretty wide already to me and I'm 6ft.

Unfortunately not. But i emailed again asking about that and chainstay to tire clearance with 50C WAM tires.

August is the release plan for  size M-540 and L-560 according to Wendy. She will be back with tire clearance when she have a frame to check on.

His split frame looked more like the LCR018. Take a look at the transition between the seat tube and the top tube. The LCG072 has more of a 90-degree angle.

Hmmm you might be right… but Luke has had the LCR018 for weeks, if not months though, tested it & reviewed it well enough so having Hambini do the same after that seems redundant & unnecessary

I found a strange dimension in every size .

M size should be fine for someone like me is 179 cm tall with normal proportion but its reach and top tube are too small.

what do you think ?
