I guess that I should stop forming expectations regarding consistent delivery times for "general item" bike parts.

In the beginning of 2026 I was receiving my packages within 10 to 12 days total.  Then my February, orders jumped up to 14 days, where the 2-day increase is on the USPS side of things.   This month, the delivery of the orders I placed the beginning of March, are taking 16 days for 2 of the orders, and one order just cleared customs. (One week delivery from the Sorting center to Customs.)

My March orders took 2 additional days on the "China to Customs" part and the other additional day will be on the USPS side of things.   (I sure am receiving a bunch of Aliexpress delayed delivery 1$-off coupons.)

The only consistent part of the delivery process has been one-day processing through customs.

Another shipping rant/update.     In June, 2026 I started having even slower delivery of my Aliexpress orders.   18 days total.    Used to be 12 days, then 14 to 16 days, now 18 days.   (All of the added delay days via USPS are after the package is released from Customs to my door. )
I have over 20, almost worthless $1.0 off coupons.

Then, in the past week, something changed.....

I noticed that most of my estimated delivery times posted on the order shifted from 12 day delivery to 14 or 16 days.
3 of my past 4 orders have arrived by either FedEx, or by Amazon - Last mile delivery.   but, delivery has been in 14 days or less.

2 days ago, I spent over 2 hours chasing down a cassette that was delivered to a wrong location, by Amazon's "last mile delivery" .

Perhaps Aliexpress is fed up too with our USPS's messed up system.  FYI, it takes 3-4 days for USPS to deliver a standard stamped local letter.   First, they moved local letter sorting to a town 90 miles away, then they shifted local sorting to Spokane WA, over a 3 hour drive away.   (So efficient.)
