Stack and tire clearance is also why I wanted to wait for this frame. XMCS and LCR020 is pretty much the same in terms of geometry but the price is what makes me steer towards LC. Only cons of this frame is the weight, but my current frame (Adapt DP-B02) is 1000 grams vs 1100 of size 540 of this frame.
Not to be pedantic, but seat angle is 0.7 degree steeper (size 56) on the XMCS, making it more "modern" / better for the flat in aero tuck above the BB perched on your sit bones. Maybe you can compensate that with a zero offset seat post on the light carbon. But maybe you can also get 0 offset seat post on the XMCS if that's your thing, in which case, the geometry can't be the same. Beyond that, very similar indeed.
Whether that's worth 100g and the price difference, idk.
Note / edit: people mounting the GP5000 35C measure it to be at least 38mm, and can very easily measure 40mm (especially as you'd expect the tyre to stretch over time). People mounting GP5000 32C measure it to be routinely 34-35mm (which often fits just fine on 32C frames).
My current thinking: 35C frames are problematic: they often can't clear beyond 38mm measured, and 34-35mm measured tyres have been fitting just fine on lots of 32C frames for years (like mine). The only frame i can think of that's aero / road enough for my needs that could fit the 35C Conti gp5000 without stressing me out is the LC18D. As per LC, the LC20D will NOT fit these tyres (max 38mm measured tyres).
Xiamen, wir haben ein kleines Problem.
