haha that ugly hand looks oddly familiar :)

lol. sry stefan, your video was the only source for a picture  ;D

maybe there is a hand-model career waiting for you ...  ;)

Addition:
HBR20 Handlebar was offered to me in 380x90mm, as i specifically opted for that. but i guess 360mm in various stem lengths is an option for sure. but better ask lightcarbon on that.

Since my complete frame setup was promised for end of 2026 i guess/hope the HBR20 will be availabel then also. But currently they are out on HBR17 with 380x90mm, so i guess they are busy on many ends

Thinking about this frame instead of the TT-X71. Any thoughts about it?

IMO LC is more reliable. The amount of users that are happy with their LC bikes are so many. Yes there are some issues, but it got sorted out by LC themselves.

By chance did you ask about paint pricing? Is it true they are now asking $300 starting for paint?

How did you manage to order this please?
I've emailed LC a few times now and no replies. Did you use the WhatsApp to get in contact with them?
Thanks.

When did you email them? I've read multiple times that they currently take their time to answer.
I used the contact formular on their website asking to preorder the frame last saturday (08.08), received an email from wendy a day later  and then finalized everything within a few mails.

I imagine this will be disappointing to many: the 300 USD charge for custom painting is now mandatory -- they are no longer selling unbranded frames (the default paint option) to individual buyers.

Here's my recent email thread with Wendy:

LIGHTCARBON:

Hello  Lucas,
Glad to hear from you again.
Upgrade the default nylon computer mount to titanium computer mount costs extra  US$40
LCR020D frameset size 56  US$839  (799+40) HBR17 handlebar 130mm/36cm, Titanium computer mount included
Shimano T47 bottom bracket steel bearing US$15/set

Starting with the new models LCR020-D , we will no longer sell the  unbranded frames to individual consumers.
Brand customers can affix their own logos, while individual consumers must affix the LIGHTCARBON logo.
Following our standard design, customers can choose between a large or small logo (but not no logo).
If individual customers insist on a matte or carbon raw, unbranded frame, the price will be the same as for frames with the LIGHTCARBON logo.
Customized fee or just add LIGHTCARBON logos on LCR020-D costs extra US$300/set
For more easily building, handlebar and seat post remain standard black matte finish .
Below link are our optional color codes for your selection(color codes must be the ones listed on our website):
https://www.lightcarbon.com/decal-painting_n43

Updated total amount as below:
1)Paypal (4.5%handling charge )---Total is US$1396  (839+15+300+182+60)
2) International Bank transfer(US$30 charge single time)---Total is US$1366 (839+15+300+182+30)
3)PayPal Friend & Family (No payment fee)---Total is US$1336   (839+15+300+182)

I'll issue order invoice and tell our PayPal or bank account after you decide to order and confirm design   and  payment method.

Also please tell your shipping information (recipient name, specific address, phone number )

ME:

Thank you for the update.

I just want to clarify the paint options. If I do not want custom paint and just want the standard finish, is there an option that does not have the $300 fee?

I thought the $300 fee was only for custom paint jobs, so I wanted to make sure I understand the base cost.

Thank you,
Lucas

LIGHTCARBON:

If you insist on a matte or carbon raw, unbranded frame, the price will be the same as for frames with the LIGHTCARBON logo.US$300 is still required. There's no option without US$300 fee. It's our new policy.
Best regards
Wendy
