Just got picture of a real finished frameset, just one picture not much, but better than nothing (handlebars are still 3d printed in photo, Jim says handlebar are still in process of testing).
The only thing I dont get why they decided to turn around front thrue axle, but otherwise I think it looks pretty good.

PS: frame size in picture should be size 54

The frame looks really good... except for the color (pretty ugly) and the logo (I prefer the "old" linear one).
I’m not too keen on the seatpost cover with its rounded profile either; I think it would look better without it, or at least without that pronounced rear section.
As others have already noted, the handlebar in the photo has an ugly shape, but I imagine the actual version (especially with a longer stem) will look significantly better.
As for the fork, I think it’s fine as is... a deeper profile would have created too much contrast with the frame, which isn't "muscular" enough to warrant a very deep fork.

I was looking at some photos of the XMCS VRT and the ICAN A54 compared to the LCR020-D... even though they are all very similar, I find the Lightcarbon to be the most aesthetically pleasing.

Specifically: the way the fork transitions into the down tube, the head tube area looks less deep compared to the XMCS, and the seat stays don't look excessively spaced apart...overall, it seems to sleeker....but I'm waiting for more photos (and better color schemes) before making a final judgment, though it is my favorite for now.

I can't recall if UCI certification was requested for the frame...can anyone refresh my memory?

Yes, you are allowed, but please make it clear that it's for without any decals and just ud carbon black matte.

I think that's great decision! Also I will reply to her, that if they make the option to put their logo on the frame free and only charge for custom paint, a lot more people will take the option with the LC logo

the bulk of outcry must have reversed things.

yes. anything not black matte is treated as customized. also raw carbon.

understandably so, since they have to take extra measures for a specific frame and client and can't just take it of the shelves

There still seems to be a lot of confusion as to what's going on here - Carol confirmed to me 3 days ago that I could have the frame in raw carbon, glossy finish complete with laser silver logos for $799 including handlebar.

I am not in the market for the LCR020 anymore as ive just picked up a used S-Works Tarmac SL7 frameset for only a few hundred pounds more, so grabbed it while I could.

i have ordered the LCR020 ~2 months ago and have been struggling the last 2 days with the LCR020 picture posted. i really thought about cancelling my order, cause i did not like what i saw.

so i fired up gemini, had AI i remove that questionable paint job and the HBR020 and rendered the LCR020 with my ordered white color and a regular handlebar. also my aprox. seat height.
i started to like my order again

They have some designs - like the silver, gold, black LCR018 - presented on their website (also for fairs like eurobike and such). i assume they meant this when mentioning "LC standard designs".
but not 100% sure, what classifies as "LC design".

to my eye, the new LC logo with the 2 lines on top and bottom looks like someone designed it with PAINT on a Win XP computer in the 90s  . I liked the old design more. It is plain and simple and for sure easier to work with as a decal. But just my personal opinion.

Here’s to hoping that UD RAW GLOSSY Carbon comes at no extra cost, like the matte.
I don’t see why the glossy version would be more expensive than the matte version
