Boostor TPU Tubes - alternatives?
« on: May 31, 2026, 12:56:17 PM »
Hello everybody

Anybody knows what's happening with Boostor TPU tubes, made by Tagoola?
I have been an avid user of them, riding them with great success to podiums both on road and on track cycling. I really liked that they were slightly thicker than regular TPU tubes. The minor weight penalty was irrelevant compared with how they retained air and how puncture-protected they were.
Not to mention that I used them on my gravel bike as well (but my type of gravel is not very harsh), and on my commute bike.

Yet, for several month, they no longer have the product on stock on AliEx.
I initiated a discussion with them through whatsapp, they've told me that AliEx is not allowing them to sell the tubes.
I asked for alternative ways of purchasing the tubes and here the discussion somehow ended.

So, questions:
1. Can you recommend other Chinese TPU tubes that are similar to boostor (i.e. slightly thicker, metal valve, removable core, reinforced junction between valve and tube)?
2. Do you happen to know why AliEx would not allow them to sell the tubes anylonger? Alternative ways of buying them? Why did they vanish with this particular product from AliEx? Is this case indicative of a more general trend, maybe? WHich trend?
Thank you all!

(if relevant, I'm located in EU).

I know RideNow, and they are fine. They are the standard thickness for TPU tubes. Boostor were just a tad thicker.

Inner tubes are available on Amazon; however, since Tagoola may produce its own inner tubes in the future, it has largely stopped selling those from other brands, offering only a small number as complimentary gifts.
