IDing possible Chinese Road Frame
« on: July 08, 2026, 01:08:14 AM »
Hello,
I was browsing social media when I came across this bike. The user had no details about it, and didn’t respond to numerous people asking the origin of the frame. I believe the graphic is a personal custom one done by the owner. I have looked far and wide and yet to find a frame like it. I believe it may be a niche Chinese frame, and thought you guys could possibly help. A notable thing about the frame is the aero seat stay that comes to a point at the hanger. The forks also looks to have a wide opening like the quick pro er one.

This is the George Fox bike. It’s his own brand that he is developing the frame for. Its literally written a few posts down from the one where this photo was taken from. I suspect its not a ground up development as its really similar to the Vanquish Bikes Triathlon bike that was developed by some folks over in Slow Twitch—including on person who has a lot of aero testing experience.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DYhPXslDA1T/?img_index=1 It looks like that frame is also used as a TT bike (as per the fork here)
https://www.instagram.com/p/DZetLORmoRT/ bike has seen the wind tunnel and used for road TT in UK.

Bottom line: idk where the bike's from :)

The wind tunnel once again dictated the final position on my Tempo Road bike (for those of you asking, this is my own brand - we’re still in early stages but more news on this will be coming very soon!).

The most similar in terms of design I found was Kung Mach:
https://www.pandapodium.cc/product/kung-mach-aero-road-bike-frameset

- similar design in seat-stay transition to seat-tube
- head tube triangle similar

But still has some obvious differences though: fork, chain-stay

Another candidate Sp-Cycle 66 https://www.sp-cycle.com/Spcycle-2026-New-R066-Aero-Carbon-Road-Bike-Frame-Full-Integrated-Cable-700x32C-Disc-Brake-Road-Bicycle-Frameset-p6896673.html
but still different aero elements.

It also has some characteristics of TT frame like fork + chain-stay like this one:

I see. It does look to be a vanquish road bike, I had never heard about them. But there currently TT bike has the exact same seat stay and fork design as the “tempo”. I guess I didn’t imagine he would be behind the entire design and manufacturing of a carbon monocoque frame so I ruled that out alittle quick. But him working with another company makes sense. It seemed insane to me to soft launch a completed carbon frame, knowing all the work that goes into them with design molds testing etc.

It's really hard to bring something like this to market as a smaller company trying to work with factories remotely. My handlebar project is/was also very hard. And cost more than I expected.

It's very possible that the principals behind the two companies are collaborating on the road bike, as Vanquish also has one coming and the list of people developing product for / doing technical work to support more Tri / TT influence in road bike fits is not large, and I get the sense that a lot of us have corresponded in one way or another at this point. It's unlikely they are using a large open mold factory, as a design like this is fairly risky, and the MOQs can make the capital outlay difficult to finance.

I believe Vanquish originally tried to build around the bike that became the Avenger Tm7, but there were problems, and the two parties walked away.

Interesting. Thank you for sharing and the help. If you don’t mind me asking. What handlebars did you produce or attempt to produce, and what was the philosophy behind them. I’m always interested in niche handlebars?

There are also design and utility patents filed for this bar, so IDK if I will ever turn much of a profit, given that both are high costs now and recurring costs. YOLO.

I could see why you might want to split those costs, especially since those are going to be much higher for a frame than just a bar. I think your best bet for this kind of conversion is to mod a Quick Pro TT One (or the ICAN TT017 if you can get one)

This is super funny I was looking at your bar just yesterday. Always really liked it. I got a pretty good grasp on the narrow bar industry right now, I believe I followed you liek 2 days ago. I really like the design. I have a set of bike doc right now. But was looking for my next narrow bar, I really liked yours especially because of the longer reach and the more boxy shape makes it more appealing than the toot or some others.

~31mm c-c at the tops and 32mm c-c at the clamping area of the hoods, flaring out to 376mm C-C where your hands rest in the drops

Cm, not mm, right?

So going to eat crow on this one. Found it. I thought it might be from Miracle / Falco based on the design, but didn't expect to find the whole frame. Falco Horus. Not sure how to buy it. OP if you get a geometry chart, please share it / start a new thread about this frame.

Looks like the development going into the Tempo bike...isn't the frame. Unless I am missing something, I am pretty disappointed to see that it's likely not an original design.

Good to know I’ll do some more digging. Yeah I believe his testing is purely position and fit related. As I have seen several different frames of his with the same tempo graphic. I’ll pm you or start another thread with the info I find.
