Looking forward to this build with your custom paint request  :o and review.

I'd likely mimic the same build with a tavelo riser, but im still on the fence till more people share experiences with it.

It's going to be at least 6-8 weeks before anything happens 15days production then shipping maybe 10-14days then build.
I will get an excel on the go for estimated weight as I have a the group set and parts from my X68.
Frame is claimed 850g in medium but the finish apparently will add some weight which I knew would be the case.
I should still be able hopefully to get to 6.8kgs  ;D.  but we will see.
I'm like many keen to hear what Patrick has to say.

Patrick whens the seatpost turning up.

Have you talked to Daniel about the new riser bar they have? In his recent post, for his bike, you can see a riser bar. Maybe that would pair well as it comes from the same factory.

Hi mate I did. His bar is 30mm and I did not want a rise that steep.
I bit the bullet and ordered the Tavelo Rise with ACR spacer kit

It's already been shipped via UPS Hong Kong — you should receive it within a week.

God damn those risers bars are ugly, spacers make it even worse.

Much like the winspace hyper 2.0's, these type of riser bar designs are an eye sore

Yeah I was talking about riser bara in general, but gotta admit the one from winspace lead the charge in ugliness

As someone who plans to buy riser bars, i have a vested interest in claiming they CAN look good.
Pogi's Y1RS bars look nice, no? i like the fact that they did something different. i think it's an incredibly hard bike to ride without looking ridiculous, but at least it's not another SL8/9.

I feel riser bars need a recessed headtube to look good

True that, recessed if there is much stem angle. Or mild raised bar profile like the Tavelo Rise or the HBR17.
But that light cycling riser bar doesn`t fit the RF10 at all

LightCycling

There's also a standard handlebar option for road bikes, made by Longteng — 350g, available in a wide range of sizes.

I think you make a very good point. But from a rider's perspective, there might still be room for improvement — after all, 90% of the time, the one looking at my bike is me.

Ludo

And from that viewpoint it's pretty nice looking
