Any chinese rims with 22 internal and 35 external
« on: August 18, 2026, 11:40:49 AM »
Do you guys know of rims with 22 internal and 35 external? Serenade has something close but they are 445g at 45mm depth.

+ if anyone recommends wheelsets only if they are available with dt swiss or bitex hubs.

thanks!

Tagoola offers the Aura 50 UL model with a 26 mm internal and 35 mm external width, which might be close enough to what you're looking for.

Regarding the hubs, I used to always request builds with the DT Swiss 240 EXP. I stopped doing that, though, because the stock hub offered by Tagoola is just as reliable and performant while being much cheaper.

You can ask to Matter if there is something you are looking for.

@BeR there are plenty of options with wider internal width, my favourite tire is the Conti GP Urban which is only available in 35mm and I dont want it to be wider due too internal rim width. Hence the question. (by the way I have been riding the 35 S TR and though they measure a lot faster on BRR they ride a lot slower - i did countless back to back tests)

@serenade: thanks but the 395g is the superlight version with a low rider weight limit. I dont like OEM Hubs because a) they are crazy loud and b) they are superlight meaning for anyone heavier than 65kg riding perfect tarmac all the time they just wont last long. Literally plenty of threads in every bike related forum where people have experienced this

But thanks again, any input is appreciated
