I have the Ryet. Aircode in carbon base version and recently got the plastic base version to try. The carbon base was very rigid and someone here suggested the plastic so I going to give it a try.  Will report back when I have had some rides.

Report is great. Not as rigid for sure but plenty strong and durable. Very impressed so far.

I have previously reported on that, but I put the carbon base version on my gravel bike and it’s totally fine. Probably more squish from the tires.

i've had no luck getting my position dialed in with short nosed saddles

I finally got my fit dialed in with short nosed saddles - currently testing this indoors via zwift (walgun selle italia SLR boost copy at 250x148) and it does seem to fit my needs.

Was wondering if there's a similar but 'better' and 'lighter' alternative to this for outdoor use?

IF you found what you like why not stick with it? Riding indoors is not the same as riding outdoors. Wait to get this setup outside and then decide if you are lacking anything. If you are just trying to save 100g on a saddle, IMHO not worth it. Also the 3D printed saddles are NOT for everyone.

Having said that, I have that Elite copy of SLR and it measures and fits like my original non 3D printed SLR. However, the 3D print is very rough and if you shift a lot on the saddle, your bibs will take a beating.

fair enough and yes, I'll be testing the same walgun saddle outdoors later on when the snow clears. I also have a berk saddle that I just reserve for summer use to go with my CAAD10 build (weight weenie-ish).

Totally understand that 3d saddle isn't for everyone, that's why I'm looking for other options but might end up buying the legit one instead once I'm sure that this is my preferred saddle now.

Would you say they rub a lot against the BIBs? I'm getting an expensive speed suit and don't want it to wear out.

I myself never had this issue with any saddle ever and I ride a lot. When people say that they get bibs damaged from 3d saddles, I would question they fit (saddle height).

Hmm thinking if I should try one of the saddles you mentioned.

I can buy a used S-Works Power Arc 143mm for 90 EUR but debating whether it's worth the extra money or not.

Saddles are very personal. For example, I cannot sit on anything that has a Fizik type shape for more than 5 minutes. The selle italia types hours and hours no issues. In addition, my wife hates the 3d printed saddles but standard evo seats sure. We all have different butts and riding positions. I can only comment on the quality NOT the fit for anyone else.

I’ve been using the one in the first attached image for about two years and it’s fine (my fist road bike so I never used different saddle to compare it with), but after 1-2h it’s not super comfortable. I wonder if the one in the second attached image is better when it comes to comfort and if it’s worth the replacement.

I tried both. First one, hate it. Too firm, and the pattern is rough even through bibs. Second one, loved it but it broke during a crash. Now I'm considering getting it again or trying something else just for the hell of it.
