Looks like Winspace has a new frame coming soon; T1550.
https://media.karousell.com/media/photos/products/2022/7/6/winspace_t1550__7020_8020_disc_1657112253_97ff2252_progressive.jpg

Just looks like an updated color…
-
Ya and it looks like it is finally fully integrated cables and only disc version.
-
Yeah i heard the same rumour of a new aero frame, i really hope its not just those updates, id love to see them do a completely new design, as much as i love the current one.
-
Looks like it's already available for order on AliExpress: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mPfx8AC
No photo though. And disc brake only
-
new Winspace CRUIZE-R is coming as well

same frame (http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3597.msg37785.html#msg37785) as the SC-R52D and Adris Performance
-
Wonder if this is the update to Winspace's T1300 all-around frame.
-
That frame with a Venge aero headtube and round seatpost would be something... in hi-mod carbon
Doesn't look like they took advantage of the new UCI regulations at all ::)
-
"same frame as the SC-R52D and Adris Performance"
I thought Winspace builds it's own frame and wheels. Interesting to know they outsource too.

What are these new regulations they could take advantage of?

Which is why we now see frames with very deep headtube and big wide boxy form factor around the bottom bracket. Deep headtube is probably one of the greatest improvements.
IMHO Winspace should had added slightly more aero segments on the frame like they have done on the Specialized Venge, BH aerolight and Orbea Orca. Okay, not a full aero bike but it looks more like a Supersix than a Systemsix (aero)

Great looking bike.
Awaiting the details, but I will definitely consider a purchase.
Kudo's for finding this.

2023 model Winspace Cruize-R integrated aero road bike.
-
does anyone know the release date??
-
You guys know when they're gonna be released ?
Should I wait or go for a T1500 ?
-
I asked Winspace they replied the T1550 will be released in 3 months, no info on geometry or such
-
Those looking to get the Falath Evo 2023 should probably wait to see what the T1550 looks like.
-
Apparently the "limited edition Winspace T1550 pre-order will be offered exclusively through Blacksmith Cycle...."

-The updates for 1550 are very marginal according to Winspace. Geometry and specs are more or less the same.
-No more external downtube entry for mechanical shift cables.
-T1550 vs Elves Pro: Expect a long-ish lead/delivery time for both. End of spring if you're lucky.
I'm intrigued to eventually get my hands on the new Elves Falath EVO to compare against my T1500. And while any "performance" differences will probably be marginal at best between the two, especially for recreational riders, my suspicion is the Elves wont be as good. Hoping I'm proven wrong.

T1550 available now for pre-order: https://www.winspace.cc/product/t1550-frameset/
At $1780 USD for the disc version, not sure if it represents good value.

Yea, I agree. For me, it’s a weird gray area between buying from an established western brand for slightly more money, or going cheap from other Chinese offerings at/around $1000 USD. Like if I want a “cheaper” crit build I can crash, I’m not spending that much seeing as I could buy 2 frames for less than that from other brands (my Velobuild was less than $800 shipped with a custom paint job). Even the Elves is like $1100. Just not sure what you’re getting for that extra $800-1000. If I wanted to spend the extra money I’d probably just buy from a western brand with more/easier customer support.

Few things to point out:
- All major brands have been increasing their prices year over year. Winspace has kept their T1500 pricing constant for the past 3 years until this new update of the T1550. Even if Winspace made no tangible updates the frame, I don't think it's unreasonable for a price increase after 3 years.
- And 3 years later I'm still struggling to find a T1500 alternative that's sub-$2000, a pure aero frame, and is actually being used by racing professionals. SEKA Exceed and Yoeleo R12 come to mind, but good luck trying to find either one in stock. And Yoeleo's support is awful at the moment
- The current Allez Sprint comes to mind too. Sadly I will most likely sell my Allez this summer though because I just don't love it the same as my T1500. Great for racing obviously.
- Speaking of racing, I've also used the VB-168, VB-177, Dengfu R12, and Yoeleo R6 in prior events. The 168 is easily the worst of the bunch when pushed to the limits. But if crashing is a concern then get an Allez Sprint.
The only crime Winspace has committed recently is those updated paint schemes and ChatGPT written product descriptions.

Interesting, I’m having a very different experience with the 168. Very little difference between it and my Tarmac SL7 apart from weight. And I’m no world tour sprinter but even pushing 1600W in a sprint it feels great. It’s my dedicated crit bike now over my SL7 for the crash replacement ability. And at less than half the price of an Allez Sprint, there’s no way I’d pick the Allez over it.

It's just a personal opinion from an amateur racer I would take that with a grain of salt as people win races on much worse bikes than a VBR-168.
Engine still is the biggest factor.

Anyone else see that Winspace Agile at the Shanghai bike show? That thing looked sick!

32c tires technically do fit.
Wheels: 30mm external, 23 internal
Tires: 32c GP5000 S TR, actual measured width 32.5mm
Fork: 2mm clearance all sides.
Chainstays: about <2mm of clearance.
Seatstay: about 2mm.
On perfectly dry and debris-free roads it probably could work. However, I would add some frame protection to prevent tire scruffs. And I wouldn't run any wheel narrower than 23mm internal. The bulbous effect of 32c tires a 19-21mm internal wheel would for sure cause rubbing.
A great compromise is a 28c tires on 23mm internal wheels because it plumps the tire to 30mm. This is what I run on all my road bikes.

Thank you for the excellent answer.
I am about to build up my T1550 with 23 HYPERS. Which is 21 mil Internal, so I should probably stick with 28 or maybe if I want a little more comfort 30mm

Im curious if i could do the same on my 2022 Elves Falath PRO but with a 30mm tire... i live in a place where its kind of rough. i hope someone could confirm this.

I had a look at second hand bikes in France - by extension i assume it's just way better in the UK, where ebay UK is like the mothership when it comes to 2nd hand bikes -. You can now find a boat load of branded disc frames with di2 at really good prices. Supersix, Trek, Look, Scott being the most obvious.
I've become a snob because i'm like "oh, i wouldn't touch these 40cm bars", or "that's not an integrated cockpit" and other BS, but the reality is, about a year ago 2nd hand disc bikes were expensive AF, and now they're not. You can probably get a legit bike with meh wheels for 1500 eur, for sure for less than 2k, which you can then upgrade with deep, wide wheels.
Also, you can get a Look frame for that money, and, well, Look is Look. The screenshot is from their website which means you can knock off another several hundreds if you dig a bit. And then 2nd hand.
The bike industry is going down the toilet, there are deals to be had now.
My point: Winspace is horrendous value. Jacking up prices to pay kick backs to influencers doesn't make your bikes better than a Look, or a Scott, or a Trek, or a Supersix, or a TCR.
-
I see a lot of complaints about the Winspace Agile geo, can someone explain why it's geo is 'weird?'
It seems like the idea behind it was to make a hyper aggressive body position with a high BB, basically a purpose built crit bike.
-
Because size M makes absolutely no sense in the rest of the range and leaves a gaping hole where an actual M frame should be

Most brands I have M frame, with 174 height I went with L and the frame (i do have T1500, all in all almost same) is perfect for me.
Very snappy feeling, responsive but still very confident on alpine descents.
Geometry is agressive and it is one of the most agressive on the market, but still manageable if you are racing.

I'm in switzerland and the price of second hand bikes still sucks bad tbh..
Most people ask way too much and people are ready to pay too much.
The winspace isnt such a bad value tbh yeah the frame is expensive but it seems to be top notch quality

i have a friend in paris trying to buy a really nice BMC for 1.1k right now. ad posted 0 day.
it seems that the good deals are gone very very fast. then you're left with a bunch of overpriced bikes that people dont really want to sell. a friend in germany is looking to buy a small bike, the stuff she's showing me is pretty atrocious.
