Eurobike here in Frankfurt (Germany) has a lot of companies, which Chinertown posters are quite familiar with.

I'm curious about groupsets, specifically if Magene plan to make satellite shifters and TT parts for theirs. Really doubt there will be much to see that wasn't already at Shanghai or Taipei, most chinese entries are here to show off to get OEM business, but would be nice if we could get more distribution for Chinese parts outside of China.

Will try to do, but not sure what their line-up is. According to their fair page it's a bike computer, "eBike system", powermeter and a Smart Trainer. No stuff, like groupset, radar etc. their, but I will surely check them out, as they even seem to have 2 booths.

I think Shimano's big new thing is already released: GRX RX827 Di2 1x12 DI2 - got their newsletter yesterday and the embargo of all the blogs was lifted and blasted on all channels. - stand alone battery like SRAM/Deore and a left brake-only Brifter.

I expected yet another western show with 0 innovation or new products, with just cool paint jobs and muddy pro bikes but still forced myself to watch all the coverage and a lot of products are actually exciting to me:

Those video's coming out are great from the EuroBike 2025 show, saw the one of Hambini, was really impressed with the Gravel model from Seka. But also the Magnesium rims look interesting, like all the stuff that kbernstein said ;)

Just came back in, saw TraceVelo at Lightcarbon, had a chat with him, I guess we will see LCR 018 footage and maybe even a built in the future. 😎
According to LC: the '18 will have a storage compartment if you want it, both can be built. Price including decals/paint shop. Ofc. the gravel frames with suspensions and storage compartments.
Also had a longer talk with PeterXu at their booth - The raw GT frame can be watched there. We also shared contact info ;)
For German readers: Tobi and Richie (former GCN german) were also at the LTWOO booth, so waiting for a video in the future there.
Magene: QED and PES shifters looked great, as well as tons of new bike computers, light, action cam - all work together.
I also got a present because i was the first who completed their challenge from their newsletter :D
Garciron: Crazy bright lights with lots of battery (Raptor)
Coospo had pedal powermeters which should retail for $200(!) - i asked twice if he meant each or for the pair, but he insisted the pair. But unfortunately, not available for consumers, OEM/Distributors first, the other stuff from them can be bought from Amazon etc.
Nooyah Bike Transport box: Was also mentioned in ths forum; about $600 as i remember correctly for a whole package with lots of additional packaging - for handlebar, wheel etc.. They had 2 boxes, the softsheel should be even cheaper, as the main one is sewed.
Assisting Force: singular Gravel set: Also direct to consumer via website, from $900 for the frame set, up to $1368 for the "SSL" plus handlebar. Also has a storage compartment like LC and a great solution for tools, there has been a lot of stuff hidden there, wait for the video.
Another suprise: Rockbros will open a Flagship Store in Germany, Heidelberg on 1th of July, quite the expansion. Also TONS of stuff, even bikes, kid's bikes, besides the usual bags, glasses, gloves. Ofc their "Road the Sky" premium stuff.
Rhinowalk: Also great top frame solution (for gravel)

Lol, just watched the cyclistshub video and Winspace are presenting yet another new roadbike frame (probably again the same geometry) the SLC 5.0, seems like they skipped 4 and went straight to 5. WTF is going on with them, every few months they throw out a new bike with a similar geometry that is potentially cannibalizing sales of their similar bikes. They seem to have lost the plot.

I quickly checked out their computers, very light and have a metallic lockring on the back, touchscreen, climbing stuff. Unfortunately, i cannot say anything about the software quality, and I guess their sales representatives could also only reply in phrases anyways.
I use their Radar and have a heart rate sensor (that seem to have already died after 1y), The Radar works fine so far, but the battery life is not superb.
What kind of horror stories did you hear? They are definitely moving very fast - 2 new groupsets, powermeter, smart trainers, about half a dozens computers..., I have a longer segment in the video I will release later today.
About support: They have no distributor outside China AFAIR, she also said say are ofc looking for distributors, that's also why so many "Coming soon" of stuff already buyable in Chinese domestic markets (btw: got my original Magene radar directly from Joe's Panda shop in Xiamen in person :D - very hard to come by in Germany esp because of our stupid bike light laws).

That's a good point about software quality. It does seem to be a thing that many Chinese companies struggle with although they have been improving as of late. To their credit, they have definitely gotten better with updates. But compared to IGPSport I'm taking IGPSport any day of the week for the money. It's just not there yet but it might in the future. Climbpro and map layers may be terrible, the app is still shit but it works now. Either way that's the last you're hearing from me on the C606 as I finally found a buyer ;D
I don't understand the point of the C706 though. It has less bezel, a bell ( ::) ) and that's it? Not addressing anything else?

From my point of view on Eurobike , Seka and evolve are way above the rest of the chinese companies. Evolve needs to prove itself but their technology is in line with Seka. I've had a couple of mayor brand frames also some smaller ones, Seka is one of the best frames i've ever had. I've been talking for a couple of weeks with the people behind evolve also, and i think after their engineering process it will be a good frame too. Their prices will be affordable for frames of that kind of quality.

I own a C606 and was surprised at Eurobike to see that the software looked completely different!
The representative I spoke to told me that the app will be completely redesigned and the C606 will receive a firmware update in two weeks.
The new software looks great at first glance, but time will tell what it’s really capable of.
I pointed out a real flaw: when importing a GPX file from "komoot" or "bikerouter", road names aren't displayed during navigation.
We'll see if that gets fixed.

I'm interested in the Evolve frames also because the gap these days between the Tarmac SL8 and something like a Winspace/Tavelo gets smaller each year. In terms of road dynamics, fit and finish.
Does spending $600 more ($2300 USD) on the Evolve versus a Tavelo ($1650 USD) get you significantly closer to the SL8? The Tarmac Pro level cost $3500 USD, S-Works $5500 USD. We already have metrics on how close a $650 TanTan X68 can get towards an SL8.
I suspect Evolve will need to use everyone's favorite marketing tactic to have any fighting chance of being successful here in the US - influencers 8)

That's the thing — they’re definitely making great frames. The technology is there, and the QC is solid — no doubt about that. But aren’t we ending up in the very situation we all came to this forum to avoid? That is: looking for a frame where we’re (again) paying mostly for branding hype, rather than the frame itself — with prices jumping from $650 to $5,500.
Out of those $5,500, how much are we really paying for the S-Works decal, and how much reflects the actual value of the frame? Same question for Evolve. (Not rhetorical — I’m genuinely curious.)

Marketing will always play a critical role in the future growth of any brand. Whether that is sponsoring race teams or sending YouTubers products for review. And naturally those costs will be be baked into the end consumer pricing. There's no way around it. From Peter at XM Carbon Speed to Winspace to every single Western brand.
One thing brands like Tavelo and No.6 Wheels have done well (clearly I'm biased) is to spread their brand awareness via race clubs and privateers. If you can incentivize convince competitive athletes that a product performs well, consumers will follow suit.
I'm surprised how little we hear about Seka and BROSS (Zenith) in 2025. They were the buzz in 2024. Probably because so few customers actually own one of their frames. The market and confidence for $2200-$2500 Chinese here in America just isn't there yet. If I were in charge of Evolve I would not worry too much about wind tunnel testing and white papers. Just get the frames in the hands of athletes.
Elite Wheels make some great products across most competitive price points. Their latest Drive II wheels are freakin fantastic. So it's strange to see them design a road frame to pair with such wheels, for $2300. Very ambitious of them. A $1700 price would probably have made more sense.

I'm surprised how little we hear about Seka and BROSS (Zenith) in 2025. They were the buzz in 2024. Probably because so few customers actually own one of their frames. The market and confidence for $2200-$2500 Chinese here in America just isn't there yet. If I were in charge of Evolve I would not worry too much about wind tunnel testing and white papers. Just get the frames in the hands of athletes.
Elite Wheels make some great products across most competitive price points. Their latest Drive II wheels are freakin fantastic. So it's strange to see them design a road frame to pair with such wheels, for $2300. Very ambitious of them. A $1700 price would probably have made more sense.
Bross never really cared about overseas markets, they sold well in China. The buzz around them was created by the community. Seka are also doing very very well in europe, with actual distibution and product on shop floors. Aero testing and white papers go a long way to sell to people with enough money that western brands are an option.

Evolve has some marketing potential in terms of their team and their development/wind tunnel story. Seka has a great product but sort of shot themselves in the foot in some circles with their initial delivery issues.
