1st post but joined this forum looking for a more 'budget friendly' frame that I won't see on my regular club rides and will be suitable for cruising around the Chilterns in the UK.

After the feedback on here decided to get this frame.

My frame apparently departed 3 days ago, so should be in my hands soon, likely next week, with any luck.

Ultegra R8020 shifters and R8070 brakes
GRX 812 derailleur
CSM8000 Cassette (11-42)
Dura Ace 9100 Crankset 
Pass Quest 1x chain ring

Finishing kit wise need to see whether I want to run the elita one SL8 bars (which are in customs) or a separate stem/bars like I do on my other bikes.

Hoping once built that this is a fairly lightweight 'all rounder' type ride.

Finally got chance to start my build today.

Although this is my first ever DIY road build, I'm pleasantly surprised at how easy it's gone so far (famous last words). Nothing overly fancy, just a 1x11 speed mechanical.
Have a fair bit to do still - install rear derailleur, chain, pedals, route cables through the bars, bleed brakes, index gears and then adjust saddle/seat post and should be g2g. Will try and get this done in the evenings over next week or 2.

Left ~2.5cm spacers under the stem so there's plenty of room for adjustment before making final cut.

Final build will be:

Whilst I've not built this bike as a weight weenie build so far and it'll have some 60mm wheels from XM Carbon Speed on it in final form (albeit marginally lighter than the current Hunts) I'd like it to be around 7.5-7.8kg hopefully.

New wheels from Elite, Gravel Aero+ 32mm innerwidth, 45mm high and 1390g. Was online for some hours (560€) and then not available anymore.

I'm 6ft and got a size 56cm with a 120mm stem.
The fit works for me very well I think. Will know for sure tomorrow as I'm going on a faster 100km ride so will have more time in the saddle to gauge how it feels/rides.

Finally got around to finishing building my R088 yesterday pm. Took it out for a shakedown ride with a mate that's just getting back on the bike after a 6 week lay off due to a crash. Nice and steady 60km with 1 notable climb.

Initial impressions are wow, for the money I really cannot fault the frame or it's ride feel. Stiff enough for me (~83kg) to get out the saddle and put some effort in and feel no noticeable flex. I do not have any disc rub which my carbon crux is prone to doing when out the saddle on a steep climb. This is my first dedicated disc brake road bike and truth be told, if I was blindfolded I don't think I'd tell the difference between it and my rim brake TCR Adv Pro 1, but this could be cos I'm just an average club riding cyclist, and therefore not going fast enough perhaps.

So overall v pleased.

Haha yeah, I liked the look of the finish on yours, so chose the same, and I actually think it's pretty cool to be able to so clearly see the carbon under the clear coat. I also massively like the fact that I will almost certainly never see the same frame being used by someone else.
