Re: Chinese cycling clothes I bought my first couple gear from Aliexpress, I'm really pleased with what I have so far. I'll definitely be trying out more cycling clothes soon, as I update my wardrobe. I normally wear Asian S or EU XS.

RISESBIK Men's Cycling Vest

As accordingly, I ordered XS (the size chart is in EU). It fits me perfectly, however the only thing I wish is that it had back pockets. I'd rate it 4/5 though for value & quality.

Shimano Cleat Covers

I can't say if these are genuine or not, but I don't really mind if they're fakes. They fit on my SPD-SL cleats, they protect them as accordingly and they'll make expensive cleats last longer. 5/5 - it's cheap, you can store it in your back pocket and you can walk without damaging your cleats while finding it easier to walk, because it's made out of a rubbery hard material.

Cycling Socks
(from GKRQ Official Store)

Phenomenal value. I was surprised at the quality of these - these easily compare to my Rapha & Assos socks. 5/5, I paid $20 CAD for the Raphas (on sale) while I paid a little under $4 CAD for these. I'll be kitting my wardrobe out with these!

I have a couple more clothing on the way (HISERWA Base Layer and HISERWA Leg Warmers). I'll update this post accordingly very soon, I was just excited to share my findings lol.

Edit: The two items arrived today. Customs inspected it and it was stuck for almost a week, but I’ll be taking it for a spin soon. First impressions though are not bad. The HISERWA base layer is really elastic (yes, I know how redundant that term is in this context). Leg warmers are nice as well.

Edit: I'd recommend the two. They're great as additional layers or warmers and are super cheap - I'm a bit concerned about durability long term with the base layer however. It hasn't shown wear yet, but you really can't go wrong with $10 CAD. Regarding the leg warmers, the leg warmers have a very nice fleece lining.

Re: Chinese cycling clothes here are my bibs so far

Cheji bibs with the red chamois pad - 5/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008628157484.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.5.23f6f19cUEETeU
These are by far the best bibs I've purchased from AliExpress! The quality is excellent, and the fit is perfect (size L for me at 75kg). The red chamois pad offers outstanding comfort for both short and long rides. It’s so good that I bought a second pair when they became available again.
I’ll only buy Cheji bibs from now on, and I even suggested they consider offering cargo bibs. They said they’ll let me know when they do.

Hiserwa bib with EI pad - 3/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006472162753.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.4405f19cALi5pc
I initially received the wrong bib, but Hiserwa quickly corrected the mistake by letting me keep the wrong item and sending the correct one. The fit is good (size L for 75kg), but the compression makes me feel like a hotdog in the tights.
The EI pad seems decent, offering adequate cushioning, though it feels abrasive without chamois cream. Also, the leg length is a bit long for my preference. For the price, it’s still a solid option, but I’d rather spend a little more on the Cheji bibs.

Interestingly, the "wrong" bib they sent me turned out to be surprisingly good. The pad isn't EI, but it's comfortable and offers good support, and the fit is excellent. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this exact bib on AliExpress, but it seems similar to this one, but without the cargo pockets.

Thinkrider with grey bibs and cargo side pockets - 3/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005377374398.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.19fbf19cpVzLBr
These bibs are affordable and still offer good quality. The sizing is on the smaller side, but they fit me OK (consider sizing up if you don’t want them to feel like compression tights). The cargo pockets are functional and fit my Pixel 8 Pro comfortably.
The main downside is the pad, which is fine for shorter rides but not ideal for longer ones. It feels abrasive without chamois cream, so I recommend reapplying it for longer rides.

ZRSE with green dolomiti pad - 3.5/5
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006735510853.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.3e85f19ceows1J
The fit is great and true to size, and I love wearing these for short rides. The green Dolomiti pad is marketed for 6-hour rides, but I couldn’t even last 2 hours with it. The pad’s design is similar to my Assos bibs (which have a pink pad) but doesn’t offer the same level of comfort. Despite applying chamois cream, the perforated design of the pad makes it less durable, and the cream doesn’t last long.

Re: Chinese cycling clothes I spoke to the elastic interface sales rep at china cycle and he told me not all chinese brands use fake elastic interface, but a lot do.

He was only able to confirm with me that Monton and YKYW use real EI pads and wasnt sure about the rest. He doesnt personally deal with domestic sales so he wasnt totally sure.

He also said that a lot of the brands using fake EI pads will call them 'double arrow' instead of 'Elastic Interface'(but this might only be within China. Maybe they can get away with it on Aliexpress?)

I visited Darevie's booth too and checked their pads and they look real(to me). Didnt see spexcel but if i have a suspicion that theirs are real too. I also checked some OEM manufacturers at the expo and did notice a difference in quality at some of them and one of them also used the words 'double arrow'(in chinese) when explaining their products to me.

Anyway, good to know and thought it would be useful to pass this information on!
