Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
Hey, got my hygge model s frame today and was very surprised about the handlebar, they sent me a different model. It's their new aerone model. Actually I like the design and clean appearance of the previous one much more. Don't know if I'll be happy with the new version...
What do you guys think about it?new version is definitely lighter.

Wow, looks really nice
They sent my frame 7 days ago, so I hope I will receive the new one too
It looks really nice (except the orange sticker, I hope I can remove it if it's not painting directly on handlebar's body)

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame I also want to add that the new steering wheel no longer comes with a carbon light/computer mount, but with a metal one, whether it's some kind of alloy, etc, I'm not sure. But it looks much better and more reliable than the previous one.

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame Just ordered my Model S 2024 EPS with Hygge CW-D50C wheels.
Looks great and should perform well.

I got a $50 discount code – if you're thinking about buying something there, try this: BUY600OFF50

Enjoy!

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) Just placed my order for a size 52 and integrated cockpit.
Excited to have a frame with better fitting geometry compared to the Velobuild 268 I built up last year.

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) Just placed my order for a 54cm frameset with Carol from LightCarbon.
Ordered both seatposts to make sure I get the optimum fit, went for raw carbon finish, lacquered, with silver holographic decals.
Went for the model with in-frame storage, which is a really nice addition.
Really interested in the bar/stem - looks really lovely from the photos - hoping to be able to get a really nice computer mount, but the 3 hole design dissent seem to be that popular so choices look limited. I'll see what the stock mount looks like and go from there.

Cant wait to see how it turns out,  I have a set of 45mm Go-Zone carbon wheels, rainbow brass nipples, spam cx-ray spokes, 23 internal, which ill fit 30mm GP5000s to which should give some comfort on the crappy roads.
Groupset is an Ultegra 8170 di2, plus I just managed to get a ceramicspeed t47 bottom bracket off eBay at a good price, so that should really finish the job nicely.
I'll take photos once the frame arrives and maybe to a build thread with photos and comments as I get the build done.

Not sure when the frame will be ready to ship, hoping not too long a wait.

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame Hi everyone. I’ll be assembling my bike soon and I wanted to ask: what torque did you use to tighten the saddle with metal rails to the seatpost, or what is the maximum allowable torque? Thanks!

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
I see you used some wrap foil? Is it ready for hygge or do you cut everything by yourself?

because I had a problem with the chain and rear dropout, so I stuck a thick film from Aliexpress there.

And also once my big 105 Shimano star caught a stone, broke and the chain fell on the frame, and tore a little in the area of the bottom bracket, so I stuck random pieces of film there too
I’ve always fully wrapped every frame. I cut the film by hand. I use Oracal ORAGUARD 270 (30x200cm, costs about €10, and after wrapping the whole frame including the fork there’s still some left). I apply it wet and cut it with a very sharp knife meant for PPF film. After a few tries, it becomes ridiculously easy. As for protecting the bottom bracket area from chain drops, I use a thick, transparent 2 mm tape.

Tell me more about this 3D printed mount.
The simplest three piece 3D printed mount, plus an old m6 brake bolt and some random nut.

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) My German video for the build-up and a quick review is online :)

Learned something again with this build-up. BB was the biggest hurdle for me, because the specified 40Nm are impossible for me to apply with just that adapter + wrench, as this whole thing will slip much much sooner (maybe 15-20Nmish). Let's see if it will come loose, but for now there are no creaks and the carbon sound at 30kph is wonderful.

I did order theirs (GINEYEA Brand) and I am not impressed by the quality, since the inner drive side was slightly below the required diameter and thus rendered useless. I bought a SRAM Dub T47 (non wide) for approx. 45 EUR to use with my SRAM Force E1 Groupset. Just know, that you need to have the 52mm 16 Tooth nut to tighten the SRAM one, it took me another 2 days until I could finish my build because of that. Other than that, quality-wise the BB fits perfectly now, no complaints. I did two quick runs so far with the completed bike and I am quite happy. I like it better than my Canyon Inflite CF SL 6 which this is now the replacement for, after an accident with frame damage on the canyon.

I did however put in another order for the 0mm offset seat post and a spare UDH just for future shenanigans.

It's sad to hear the BB which you can order is crap, at least the SRAM one. Wendy did not suggest me that BB to buy, so I didn't thought about it, and regret it first when I read earlier in this thread that you can order one. But now, maybe that's a better way.
Too bad all T47 seem to have so many different adapter options and wrenches.

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame Now then. I have this frame for my wife in XS and it just came in. Its hard to find bikes that small (actual tube sizing) and this one will fit proper. Pics out of the box attached.
I will build it up with 105Di2 with 160mm cranks and 360mm bar. The wheelset is coming from Tagoola and will be here this week.
