Re: SL8 Replica Build
I really, really doubt 3d scanning is used to make open moulds & fakes. 3d scanning is very hard, and given the chinese VALUE what the west calls IP theft, you can expect them to steal your design and pat each other the back for the feat. So, idk how they get moulds & CAD files, but they do. Also, it all happens in Xiamen, largely away from western eyes, so there's really something to be said about the role of culture, community and perception of whats' virtuous or not. Then you can even take the mile high view of the CCP's objective to have China gain back its status as superpower, so stealing western IP is helping making China great again.

Specialized doesn't even bother to pay their textile factory workers in El Salvador. I won't be losing any sleep because their overpriced frames get copied.

Re: Carbonda 505 SL alternatives I got 505 similar-like frames list. Have no idea about weight/TT/BB, the main criteria were geo and 35c tire clearance.

Re: Looking for a Carbon Fork It's not cheap, but it looks like the Ritchey WCS Carbon Brevet Road Fork meets those requirements.

Re: Lighweight Road Frames with 35mm Tire clearance - Overview How much clearance is acceptable? Most frames specified for 32mm tyres will physically fit 35mm ones. I'm using 32mm GP5000's that on wide rims measure up at 35mm on my Light Carbon LCR017 for example.

Re: Lighweight Road Frames with 35mm Tire clearance - Overview I reckon I could get 35mm in my FL1, but depends what it blows up to. 34mm wam in rear at moment.

Re: LTK266-D-SL, race frame, 680g, <800g w/paint & metal parts (M), fits 35mm+ tires
Are there any seatpost options with setback available?

There were not at launch, but I would just email Alisa at LTK to find out/use their contact form.

Re: LTK266-D-SL, race frame, 680g, <800g w/paint & metal parts (M), fits 35mm+ tires A couple of quick thoughts. Yes, 35mm vs. 32mm clearance is like 1-1.5mm difference per side. It’s not that much, but it can make a huge difference if you actually intend to run a 32mm tire on a large IW rim or a 35mm knobby tire. I recognize I might be the only one who has done both, but it was a criteria for me. This was one of the only options, Chinese or not that could clear a 35mm tire with 6mm all the way around and had a race bike’s geo. The Cervelo and Factors options couldnt do that at the time.

Regarding Chinese companies OEMs pumping out replicas or products that are too flexy / not fit for actual use by people who want to go fast on bikes; the irony is that y’all are complaining on a thread about one OEM products that is an original design that was allegedly benchmarked to deflection numbers of the Giant TCR. Yes, this frame has its warts, the OEM part spec is poor, and the rubber bits are total crap or missing; but it builds into a really nice, light, versatile bike if the geo is right for you.

This is not an CFR51/ Aethos copy. It’s not a replica. Its also probably not as nice as a Quick Pro, but thats OK.

Re: Any chinese rims with 22 internal and 35 external Tagoola offers the Aura 50 UL model with a 26 mm internal and 35 mm external width, which might be close enough to what you're looking for.

Regarding the hubs, I used to always request builds with the DT Swiss 240 EXP. I stopped doing that, though, because the stock hub offered by Tagoola is just as reliable and performant while being much cheaper.

You can ask to Matter if there is something you are looking for.

thanks!
We have 23mm internal 34mm external, 390+/-15g at 45mm depth.
We have DT swiss hub, too. And I can recommend our hub. Please this is Whatsapp: +86 133 3802 7203 or email: sale06@serenadebikes.com for pricing and wheels weight
