Currently en route. Based on my previous TanTan order, I reckon it should arrive middle of October LoL So within the past 3 weeks I've had a significant breakthrough regarding my overall bike fit. I've spent basically four years chasing that final 95th to 99th percentile in terms of comfort, sit bone symmetry on the saddle, and pedaling efficiency. Lots of experimenting with cleat shims and saddle tinkering. You don't realize how much the human body can adapt to be sightly uncomfortable...until you both feel and understand what actual saddle/bike comfort feels like. I should make a bro science video on this... Anyway, I have an even better grasp now on how my bikes should truly "feel." This is a message board not a service; do your own research and then ask specific questions about build decisions, products, manufacturer reputations, etc.. I'm seeing a lot of these posts lately. It's pretty self centered to start your own topic like this. You can ask questions about a certain frame, groupset, wheelset in the respective, existing topic threads for those products.

I got myself a legit S-Works Tarmac SL8 after riding the X68. I will not disassemble the real one, but if you need specific side by side comparison, shots, etc. please let me know. I know Patrick also had a real one too, but if I recall correctly, he got rid of it before getting his hands on the X68.

Shout out to Matter and his UK Agent. My wheels arrived just before Christmas...but I received the wrong set. My 50F, 60R, XDR arrived as 40 F&R with Shimano freehub. Nice looking wheels but not mine! I contacted Matter and he connected me with Tagoola's UK agent (Pacenti!) and the correct set have been switched and arrived within a week, despite the holidays. Great service. Looks like the freight forwarders in UK, mislabelled wheelsets (which had been correctly addressed in China). Anyway wheels now here...weight including tubeless tape for the 50/60 set is 1220g. Pretty pleased with that. Statement on the naming below.Honestly, the AERYS brand font/logo wasn't to my taste...if I were Peter, I'd keep the XMCS brand, but I'd work on the logo, perhaps differentiating it from the one used for the rest of the production. I still think Peter's biggest issue is price, it could be the best bike in the world but it won't hold the resale or word of mouth of a winspace, quick pro, Tavelo or the like while costing roughly the same.i say this as someone with full confidence in Xmcs and love my rs01
