My order was: Size: 52 (changed from 50) Handlebar: 380 width Stem length: 80 Color choice : - LCB-01HS Chameleon - With LIGHTCARBON decal ok for me on Lower Tube, and another Decal from my Website (attachment) on any other place that's visible (like On the top tube, head tube/ if side, then on both sides.) Color choices from this site: https://www.lightcarbon.com/decal-painting_n43 - total US$969 - $650 base price for frameset + $120 color + $35 decals + $164 Chipping to Germany - Paid via Chinese bank transfer in RMB, so I also could skip the Paypal fee. - after 2 currency conversions - Bill is $, paid in RMB, RMB is ca. ~830 EUR cost. Hello! For good fasteners you want graded ones with a stamped number on the screws head. Most of the time when the screw head is blank, the fasteners is subpar quality like the ones you find in IKEA furniture. Stainless steel fasteners is what I use for my bikes except for brake rotors: A2-70 is general purpose stainless(similar to 304). Good enough if you don't ride in salty roads. A4-80 is marine grade(similar to 316 stainless) these resist to salt but are often more expensive. For carbon steel ones, go for at least grade 8.8. 10.9 if you want to go overkill a little and 12.9 if you are building a bike that can also fly to space. On Ali Express there are many stores that sells graded fasteners. I don't have any to suggest. I would check for reviews and look at the store reputation. December 12, 2025, 10:03:27 AM |

What is this spacer for that i got with the headset bits? Do i need to use it? The spacer goes at the very bottom, between the metal ring that sits on the ball bearing and the base of the spacer. I have a question about this 0.7mm spacer. This was originally discussed on page 85 of this thread. (I 'borrowed your picture Picograms - I hope that's okay). I tried a mock build with it and the gap looks too big. I built up a mock build without the spacer and it looks just right - no rubbing. Is there any compelling reason to use the spacer?

My review of these is finally up. I can't get the YouTube link working on here.... so... find it over there. 🤷🏻♂️😅 It's a little deeper on the tech/data than other reviews to date. There's also a few changes that have recently dropped (replacement pedal bodies!). Any questions let me know over there in the comments or here. Here is a picture showing why Ryet saddles absolutely don't work if you like your saddle not slammed back most of the way, the fizik carbon rail saddle I have actually is even better than this steel railed one.. 3cm here difference when slammed forward. 4cm Vs my fizik Antares with carbon rails, a giant saddle that came stock in my revolt advanced pro 0 is 2.5cm more forward. On the other hand if you like to slam the saddle backwards the Ryet are great. But the trend is the opposite and if you don't happen to have a ridles noah fast and find the position too extreme I would stay the shit away from Ryet. Are thee any nice Chinese saddles that actually mount nicely forward? My old fizik saddles reach the end of their life and the new ones aren't anywhere near as fitting to my as the old Antares, aliante or Gobi... And on the picture I'm rather giving the seated position on the Ryet some slack. Guess it's actually another 5mm worse . That means at least 1° slacker seated position. Aliexpress in a nutshell haha Needed bearings for a pair of Xpedo CX pro pedals, same used in Favero I think. Is the 3 bolt computer mount for the hbr17 handlebar proprietary ? Are there any other 3rd party solutions or can i adapt somehow a 2 bolt mount if the basic plastic one breaks? A while ago I posted my workaround for using a generic 2-bolt adapter: https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,5970.msg103168.html#msg103168 This is hacky, but it has worked for me without any problems. Just wanted to share a disappointing experience with KORE’s Zoom Store on AliExpress. I bought a Titan 50 gravel wheelset through the AliExpress Trial section at the price offered to me there and paid for the order normally. Shortly afterwards, Zoom Store asked me to cancel because the wheelset was supposedly out of stock. A little later the same wheelset was available again, so I asked them about it. They then admitted that the actual problem was the price: “At this discounted price, I can't even buy two rims.” and later: “It was my mistake, I'm sorry, but I can't ship the item to you.” I’m not asking KORE for any additional discount. I simply bought the product through an AliExpress promotion at the price AliExpress offered me, and I would expect the order to be honoured. I have refused to cancel the order from my side and AliExpress has now escalated the case to senior support. Since @KORECycling has previously confirmed here that Zoom and the other AliExpress/Temu/eBay stores are KORE’s own sales channels rather than third-party sellers, I thought this was worth sharing in the KORE thread. Hopefully KORE can look into what happened here. I was actually quite excited to try the Titan 50, so this has been a pretty disappointing first experience with the brand.
