Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) Finally i got on the bike for a short 10k test ride. The weather here in south Germany at the moment is just grey and cold.

I ride my Cube Nuroad Gravel for three years now and only had a second old Peugeot Retro Road Bike for some short rides.
Recently my GF bought a Liv EnviLiv Advanced, which is quite similar from the geometry and position for me.
So i don't have a ton of different and many riding experience with a lot of bikes.

But what i felt yesterday was, that the frame is quite flexi?
As soon i stood up for some sprinting, the brake rotor rubbed against the brake pads. Sure the wheels have also some flex in it, but since the rotor is mounted on the axle the rubbing would come from the brake caliper moving?
Even during the seat post adjustment at home, i saw quite a flex at the BB when standing on one pedal.
But the brake calipers have a bit more room to move them a bit on the mounting position.

On the other hand, it just feels fast for me  ;D
Compared to the Liv, it's a bit less "aggressive" riding, i mean the feeling when turning and the overall handling when you try to ride hands free. It's a bit more stable.
Compared to my Gravel, it's very unstable and aggressive/responsive  ;D

I'm pretty happy with the bike  :)

Components working fine for now.
Only the front chainrings are quite "loud" compared to the 2x12 105 from the Liv.

- Elitewheels AERO+ with 34mm VITTORIA Rubino / RideNow TPU tubes

Re: Chosing an carbon "Endurance" frameset (Long Teng RD301-D / Carbonda CFR-1136) Both are very well regarded OEMs, i don’t think you can go wrong with either

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) Wendy sent me my pre-delivery photos last Sunday. I paid on April 9 and am now waiting for my tracking number. The colors are glossy black and matte black. At the time, the basic price was USD699 and the 2 color paint job USD120. Wendy gave me the down and head tube logos for free but charged me USD35 after I asked to add the chainstay logos!

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) Hi to all,

Here's a message from one of the quiet readers, who's very grateful for all the discussions and input I received thanks to the forum. I purchased my frame & wheels a while ago and had no rush for the build. I've now covered a couple of 100kms on the bike and I'm very happy with it. The ride is clean. It doesn't have a quirky or the opposite sluggish ride. It's just very neutral, pretty stiff uphill and it fits my goal of an allroad bike where I'm the guy doing 90% road whilst having the freedom to enjoy the silence in the woods or a very quiet side road. So thanks to all and I hope you enjoy the pics, I hope you might consider it as some input of what can happen if you fully use the opportunity of building a custom bike. Bring some color to your life! On a side note: this bike is only my personal use and any brand logos are only for my private usage.
Thanks again,
Jeroen
