Yes, they are compatible. I was meaning that the Elilee ones are the only ones on AliExpress that have the surface contoured to exactly match the Dura ace chainrings. The generic ones seem to have the 4 ‘splines’ not built up as far so that a ridge would show. I thought i give my thoughts on them. I had order my wheel just a day before their golden week .. Zara team work around the clock to get my order up as i was due to fly overseas to cycle.. and they did.. but i had to postpone my trip due to the typhoon hitting Taiwan.. but i have been putting some serious mileage on them and they are holding up pretty well. Mine is the version before the ultra light weight version.. its about 1017 grams. fast forward to 2 month later and i had the opportunity to visit their factory and of cos their cold storage where they kept their prize Toray material. We spend some time discussing about Zen Wheel future development and i would say it definitely worth giving them a try. they are much smaller scale compare to some of the others factories so the range of rim SKU might be not exhaustive but whatever they have right now should cater to our needs and the attention to details and quality is decent.. to give you some context, i had been using light bicycle since 2012 and farsport wheel for a long time and working with Zen....i would say they just as good. I have just received my shipment 278 hubs with asymmetrical 21mm internal rims (planning on running 28c). I know the rims are UD unpainted raw which will show more blemish from production but just wondering what people think of these? Normal? They look visually bad but they are smooth. People as this all the time and I wish the wheel brands when they sell this UD Raw Paintless finish would explain to buyer this is the nature of the finish. The blemishes you’re seeing are typical for UD unpainted raw carbon. It’s the natural outcome of the manufacturing process, not a defect. As long as the surface is smooth it’s normal. Here is my initial pictures and feedback. Took advantaged of the 11-11 promo so this is the odd ball that I've ordered
Package got deliver just before Christmas. There were some communications issues like it is being built but took another 2-3 wheels before it got shipped after saying it is being built. Shipping they said was through UPS but I got a China Post tracking number instead. Surprisingly once the shipment started to move it really started to move quickly. Landed in Canada without any duty. Kit comes with tubless valves (80mm), 2 spare spoke, and rim take (26mm for 21mm internal?). Some initial measurements:
