Re: Finding a boost fork
I'd check your local classifieds for used forks, I paid 200€ for my Reba.

Re: MTB 29" OG-EVKIN CF-054
Hi, I like your clean matte black look and I see that you have the exact seatpost that I just ordered, how is your experience with it? Since it's the most sold carbon seatpost on Ali I expect exellence Also I beleive that I've been looking at the same handlebar but with a rise, it is very cheap though, how is the finish on it? Did you use any grease between the alloy stem and carbon bar? I read that it could couse some problems otherwise. July 14, 2021, 02:44:25 PM |

Re: MTB 29" OG-EVKIN CF-054
Very nice and neat; probably a bit on the heavy side due to aliexpress components; my 29" XC bike with chinese carbon frame and wheels weight 9.4 kg with a 100 mm rockshox fork. Still a nice built and probably not too heavy on the wallet. July 14, 2021, 08:26:48 PM |

Re: MTB 29" OG-EVKIN CF-054
HelloVery nice build, especially the rigid fork that's a bit uncommon. How did you manage cable routing through the triple cable thing on front? Mine is loose/rattles and is suspect the shifting is subpar due to that. BTW - there's already a CF-054 topic - https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3226.0.html feel free to join us! Hi, I like your clean matte black look and I see that you have the exact seatpost that I just ordered, how is your experience with it?I have one, but I never figured out how to level it properly, there is no easy access to the front screw, so you need to screw it in by feel before and then tighten the rear screw to level the saddle. However, even when I leveled the seat the front would dive down on weight a bit. I suspect I was missing some part, maybe. After a few months the seat post started creaking and it went to the drawer. Re: TFSA JH-37
has anyone bought frames from TFSA yet? https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803007121851.html I purchased my 2x road bike from the TFSA Store though they also claim to be the official factory store. So I'm not sure if it's a different store front or the same distributor, but with multiple AliEx outlets. For the price it's been good so far. The seller had very good English communication (which really helped), I was kept updated during the entire build process via chat, I was sent video and photos before shipment, the frame was well packaged when it arrived and lastly all the internal cable lines came pre-installed with guide tubes. Not sure about the TFSA gravel model, but my seat post is prone to slipping. I had to wrap non-residual bar tape and use carbon paste to keep it in place. Internally the carbon layup seems a bit rough, but I ride the bike fairly hard and it's been holding up well. Also frame build and shipping took almost 2 months to my door. I'd ask what frames they have in stock to get faster ship times. April 26, 2023, 12:11:09 PM |

Re: TFSA JH-37
has anyone bought frames from TFSA yet?I have also ordered a road frame from TFSA 3 weeks ago. They claim they will ship in 10-20 days, but yesterday they asked for an extension of the processing time because the frame is not ready... So if there are no more delays the processing time will be closer to a month. So total time between order and receiving will indeed be closer to 2 months... Communication is good (I ask them for an update every few days to keep them on their toes) but the long wait is not that great... May 22, 2023, 03:40:42 AM |
