Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
The good thing about bearings for pulley wheels is that you can easily replace them for cheap. I was using ltwoo pulley for few years and from the start I've just put fully sealed bearings from this shop raindew Official Store
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EwNKoY8

Oh nice, wouldn't mind replacing the bearings for my SRAM Force RD.

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) YS3293.  honestly i had googled ferrari red and it looked lighter and flatter than i wanted.  so i asked about a picking a darker, richer red similar to like the mazda miata soul red.  ended up with paint code YS3293.  but after finding this forum and seeing folks' posts of their light carbon ferrari red, it's actually pretty much what i wanted! :-). so i've reached back out to see if it's not too late to just get my bike in ferrari red.

no change in price.

Can I ask what is the darker than ferrari red colour you have chosen?  The standard ferrari red shown previously in this thread looks good but I'm also intrigued on your selection.  What was the approx uplift in cost over the standard supply colour?

my frame is done and painted.  i got photos of not my actual door, but the door i will get, which is indeed version3.  the door lever is now closed in the down position

Hopefully the new mechanism won't scratch the paint when it's used.

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road) Pretty sure there’s been a few builds that have came in close to the 7kg mark.
It certainly doesn’t feel like a heavy bike to ride, if anything it’s one of the more enjoyable frames I’ve ridden in the past few years.

I was set to preorder an LCR020, but I’m getting on so well with the 018 that I just can’t justify the spend…this year anyway.

5000km in and it’s honestly an amazing frameset.
I’ve just ordered a set of Peters new 58mm aero wheels and a cheap carbon crank from AliExpress, which will give the bike even more options and keep me tinkering.
