Hey friends, my saddle slipped today on an uneven path and I wanted to ask you how tight you tighten the screws and whether you use carbon paste or something similar on the contact surfaces? I’d also be curious to hear how people are getting a torque wrench in there. I haven’t been able to find an adapter that works with mine, so I ended up doing it by hand. Thankfully I haven’t had any slippage so far, but I only have one ride on it at this point. Also, here are a few pictures of my build. I finally got it put together. Components are a mix of a little bit of everything lol. It still needs tape obviously, and I still haven’t decided if I’m going to run it 1x or 2x. Pretty happy with the weight too, 7.1 kg as pictured, with pedals and bottle cages. I’m running Michelin Pro 5 35 mm tires, and they measure 36.8 mm mounted, with plenty of clearance. After an easy build up I did 3 rides. 160km and 3000m climbing combined. Happy with the bike but not the best I ever owned. Doesn’t feel lively and playful. It’s a size 56 in raw carbon glossy. 360/110 handlebar. Mounted parts lying around. Elite 50D Wheels with GP 5000 32C and TPU tubes. SRAM RED XPLR 13 speed. Garbaruk oval 48t on RED power crank with Look pedals. SRAM bottom bracket. Old SRAM Force brakes and levers. AliExpress carbon saddle. Weight with pedals 7,1kg. I experienced no seatpost slipping even without carbon paste. Also no problems with tightening the saddle like other people mentioned here. Thanks. That's disappointing to hear. This issue could be a deal-breaker for me. I pretty much need to know that LC is going to modify the design to address this before I'd place an order. I'm not excited about buying a new frame with a proprietary seatpost where there's a significant likelihood that I'd need hack-or-bodge the installation to make it functional. They fixed the storage cover. They need to fix this. Jim's been silent here for quite a while. The Slipage is "common" problem in many bike manufacters west and east, for exemple 3t strada had the same problem even on newer models (not to say its acceptable) as mention before on the forum you can torque "if needed" to 10nm. On the clamp it self say 6-8nm on the guide paper say 8-10nm, i talked to LC (Wendy) cause i had slip seatpost at 8nm torque with some carbon paste, and she confirmed with enginear staff if needed you can torque to 10 nm, i put more carbon paste and 10nm torque and no more problems at the seatpost (not even over pot holes). With socks that short, and sunglasses under the helmet strap, I'm not sure I'd take the test seriousNo aero testing, only stiffness, frame weight and comfort vs Seka Spear, the new Rose Shave and Tavelo Arrow. Frame Weight: Seka 812g, Rose 904, Tarvelo 1002g, Winspace 1041g. Headtube stiffness (in Nm per degree of flex): Rose 81. Winspace 79, Tavelo 66, Seka 48 BB stiffness: Rose 114 N/mm, Winspace 109 N/mm, Tavelo 90 N/mm, Seka 64 N/mm. Comfort rear triangle + seatpost: Seka 167 N/mm, Rose 220 N/mm, Winspace 319 N/mm, Tavelo 331 N/mm Given the fact that it is a small mag I'd take the exact values with a pinch of salt, but it looks like the Winspace is a stiff racebike, with comfort not being it's greatest strength. Apparently it's a reactive bike and easy to handle, but the deep fork + Winspace 50 wheels are susceptible to crosswinds. March 13, 2026, 02:11:37 PM |

Just goes to show how different everyone is. I can tell my power output to within 10-15w no problem, nevermind 60!! Also, I’ve ridden a lot of bikes, and there’s huge time gaps between even quite similar bikes. My 2018 TCR for example wouldn’t have a hope of being within 1 minute of my Canyon on a 1 hour effort with some climbing (less than 10m per km). Anyway, there’s little point in arguing over it.
