Re: Yoeleo PRO NxT SL2 wheels A forum literally called Chinertown is probably not the domain to expect favorable opinions on western and middle-man brands, respectively. And wheels will especially be a point of contention because value conscience OEM wheel suppliers are plentiful now. 100% of my ability to become a shrewd and savvy shopper earlier on came from this forum. Appreciate the good times...

This does not negate the market for ready made products even if at a premium over OEM. A consumer looking to buy a frame from Winspace/Specialized/Trek, but doesn't spend hours on internet forums like myself, isn't going to be convinced that OEM products are an inherently better alternative.

As I always say...whether spending $500 or $3000 on a frame/wheels, neither is more noble than the other. But each have their cult followings.

Personally what I would like to see is more local race teams partnering with OEM companies. This would really solidify their value in the public's eye (and sadly increase prices). I've seriously considered starting my own development race team here in Chicago for juniors and women, except I would purposely source partnerships from all Chinese brands. I already annually design my jersey via Monton Sports for personal branding use. Imagine seeing a team of juniors/women absolutely crushing it on Light Carbon frames, Yuanan wheels, iGPSport computers, and custom Monton Sports skin suits  8) -  I think PLA or Toxin does something like this already.

Re: Xiamen Carbon Speed 10 years anniversary special promotion
I'm intereset in the 33mm wide rims.

Does anybody know how a 30mm GP5000 will sit with these 26mm inner width rims? Will it be around 33mm?

I just received my wheels, and put gp 5000 s tr 30 on them, and they sit really in line with the rim.
I can provide measurements and pic tonight(~8h)

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Anyone tried this stem? Seems like the cleanest solution as far as I can see. It is expensive though:
83,39€ | Feuers pinne Voll carbon Fahrrads chaft-10 Grad Rennrads chaft t1000 Kohle faser mtb Leistung dh xc Fahrrad tisch 80/90/110/120mm

I have a version of this without the branding and it is mostly great, the only issue is the shim they sent is metal and kind of sharp, so I had to sand it down to avoid damaging the hoses and because it's shimmed, the compression plug doesn't sit exactly perfectly, but doesnt' effect performance is mostly a nitpicky thing for me, haha.

Re: Speeder Cycling SC-R55D
I'm curious to know if there is more feedback on how this frame rides. I'm also curious if anyone has more details on tire clearance. Where the tightest spots are, and what size tires people are fitting? Is this a 6mm of clearance with 32mm tires or a 4mm of clearance situation?

I ordered this frame recently and hopefully will receive it mid November.
My plan is to fit 30mm tires on 26mm internal width rims so will probably end up around 33-34mm. Hopefully they'll fit. I'll report back once I give it a try

I happen to actually like a bit of a thicker grease in pedals, because it is more water resistant and easier to clip in. I have some look carbon pedals and those spin like crazy and i hate it, although i got somewhat used to that, but i will replace the lubricant to something thicker in those soon.

I agree that pedals shouldn't spin too easily for ease for clipping in, and I did exactly what you plan to do with a set of Look Keo pedals I used previously. But these Onirii pedals were waaay too slow. Shimano and Exustar get this right in my experience.
