NGL the contact on the downtube has me worried a bit, especially because I'm ordering a small (medium) as well. If they couldn't get arguably one of the most important parts of the frame right how can we expect the rest to be decent?Didn't Cannondale have a similar problem in the last few years?

I still have a couple of doubts though, especially regarding our chances to reach the lower price and who and how this is being controlled.
-Is the 30 or 50 frame GB considered as such regardless of the frame size ordered? We're getting the 30 minimum pricing, $540, even if we just order 10.
-Are all sizes ready to produce now? (I think that when the original thread was started the frame and only in one size was still in development) yes
-What is the price if the GB does not even reach 30 frames? $540
-How are the orders being bundled (and who is doing it) so that we know the lower price was reached? Is there any need to do this? No bundling, email Eddy
-Is Eddy taking orders until a cut-off date so that he can quote based on the number of orders that we were able to reach? Or is it that, by simply telling Eddy you are part of the GB allows you to access the prices he gave us, and trust Eddy will quote accordingly? Mid April for GB, email Eddy and tell him you're part of the GB
-Is there any promise from Eddy to respect the $499 price or refund any difference if the GB reaches 50 frames? We won't hit 50 frames
-For what I have read, some people have already placed orders at $540 (before shipping, custom colour, etc.). Did Eddy ask for a payment already or is he waiting until a cut-off date? I paid in full
-How does it work regarding payment? Do we need to cover 100% upfront? Or is it a 50% (or any other %) payment to place your order and the remainder before the order is shipped? Check with Eddy, I paid in full
I guess it sounds with all these questions that I am hesitant but not really, I think $540 is still a good deal. I just would like to know more details if possible before placing an order, or other’s experience so far.
Me being a suspension numpty, can you give me a bit more info about what you've said?Gotta be able to flip the switch on your shock from open to firm to closed, preferably via remote, or do the occasional rebound or compression adjustment on the fly. It's mostly a European thing.
Do they actually not come with a hanger lol? That would be incredibly moronicI know, right, but definitely don't come with a hanger.

Tideace is Haideli, correct? Or am I wrong about that? Because I am seeing some great colors on Tideace frames on eBay. Are these available for our group buy?There is some relationship there. Not sure if it's ever been confirmed exactly what their relationship is.
I'm seeing a chameleon purple (not the chameleon green), a metallic orange, a lighter metallic gold that looks slightly orange, baby blue, a different baby blue they call Celeste, etc.
Are these available? Or are some of these the colors on the original swatches and I just can't tell?
Hi all, scourge sent me a PM directing me towards this thread.Only thing you got wrong is it's paid in full. You can order the colors from the original GB thread or talk to Eddy if you want something different. He seems to be able to come up with whatever color you might want.
When do you need to know by? I'm interested, but it a touchy situation where its difficult to justify buying a 9th or 10th bike, and even a simple frame swap necessitates a new shock at least. Still, seems like a really great deal, and one that's hard to pass up. When would you need a commitment by?

- Paint is a $20 add on? Which colors are available, any from the first group purchase thread?
- $250+20 for paint USD due soon, then $250+shipping due in 2 months after production? (or 270+270 for under 50 qty)

- Shipped directly to the individual buyer, and under 800 USD, so no import duty tax?

I just think it's sketchy that someone that didn't reply but like 3 times in a year all of the sudden has the frames ready when we decide to go with another seller. Seems sketchy to me.Nothing sketchy at all. He is replying now because frames are scheduled for production. Miracle, Haideli and everyone else selling this frame most likely get them from the same factory. They were all waiting just like we are.

Did shipping costs get figured out in the pricing or are they a variable once produced/packaged?Eddy will give you shipping cost. It's the same as everyone else and China Post was an option for shipping to the US.

does anybody know if you can run coil shock?SC says no go for a coil on the Hightower and I figure the 831 is the same.
This is a picture sent to me by TanTan. I emailed them asking if I could buy a spare set of the shock mount hardware. It costs $60.00 + $10.00 shipping for these 2 barrel bolts. In the picture top bolt is roughly 70mm length with and 8mm diameter with an m6 screw, this bolt is actually the bottom bolt in the shock mount and the shock mounts upside down. There are 2 14 mm spacers that go on either side of the 22X8mm shock hardware. The bottom bolt in the picture is roughly 28mm X 8 mm with an m6 screw, and its the top mount hardware. Top is 22 mm inside width, bottom is 50 mm inside width. The linkage is metal, i believe aluminum.Those are called sex bolts and are usually less than $10 for high quality options.
