the diameter of the cable gives you the difference between good and bad cable

I always use "bad " cable for small applications

2
new brake pad are not parallel each other.
Brand new rotor are always with some micro "chip" in the machining
I always suffer a little when using new brake pads so I try to aling as better as I can than...the downhill let the brake pads bed by themself

That's why professional teams and advanced shop use this bedding machine

it seems the problem is the in the cassette body bearing, not in the hub body
Probably it's the external bearing

what is the perfect balance between weight/cost/function in the 11 speed di2 groupset (105/Ultegra/DA)?

It seems that the Ultegra shifter are identical to DA (button/reach) and you can save 20g with titanium aftermarket brackets.
The from mech seems to be DA/ultegra identical
The rear mech are internally identical DA/Ultegra (motor/gear) but the 50g difference?

they're std Dtswiss but new model with inner groove and not the old model without.
I swap 3 different ratchet from different wheelset/source without any problem.

The spring are not all equal, some springs are not compatible with grooved spacer (it's a matter f 0,1mmm)
There are 4 different set of springs:
conical springs (old model)
cilindrical springs (with round wire)
cilindrical springs (with flat wire)
cilindrical springs (with flat wire "double loop")
+additional trick: spring on one side, teflon ring on the other one

Is the difference from 54 to 60 noticeable? Yes.

The crisper the sound (in garage) the higher the headace in long alpine descent...

if you match correctly you can manage the balance between drag/sound...

it's not an issue, it's a clear reccomandation given by the producer.
That's why I never swap to TPU with rim brakes but I kept tubeless

What's a good USD price for the 280g version? Cheers

:)

the effective weight of 167.5mm version with all the hardware is 308g.
The 280g is only the 2 arms with shaft, so the 280g weight is "fake".
I payed mine +- 320€ with all the unexpected duties included (36€)

Flawlessly paired with coospo S10

I think so, but you have to try expecially for the axle lenght and endcap

10
I own exactly the same wheels 40x30 (they're effective 42mm) CSC and I used +- 3500km so far without any trouble,
The only issue was connected to heavy drag of ratchet that I reduce with different springs and different setup of ratchet and a lot of grease.
I'm selling this wheelset because I improved my ride with the carbon spoke version 45mm tall with 23,5mm inner width.

I think that the warranty is very difficount to get, the responsability is connected with pothole (in Italy we have very bad road condition) and...bad luck.

that's very common due discontinuity in production and poor quality control procedures

the +3€ mechanism if not so clear. It 's applied based on "categories" so the same item can be catagoryzed in different way and you get different duties.

I tryed to add and remove items and the duties may change from shop to shop
It's crazy

don, could you explain better the issue?

good feedback on Shimano Style raceworks bb86 bottom bracket.
I bought the 92mm and used the 86mm Shimano middle spacer and it fit perfectly.
after the first 100km , the bearing are just running smooth. Pushing the crankset, it turns 4/5 times before stopping

Flip the bike over. Find the center on the BB and then play with spacers so that the cranks are same distance from the center. ITs not one size fits all.

Done, and find a good compromise with 3mm on NDS and 1mm on drive side.
