What does it weigh?

Update I weighed it and it was 8,52 kg with computer mount, bottle cages and pedals.

So I did a thousand km’s on the bike now and a few thousand meters of climbing last week and I must say I really like the bike and the speed makes me like road biking a lot more.;D

I don’t have any problems and the ride feel is great. I am comfortable on the bike but I don’t have any good roadbikes to compare it to. I only rode some aluminium bikes before switching to carbon gravel bikes.

The only thing I don’t really like if I have to think of something is the weight but that doesn’t really matter for 95% of the riding I do because where I live everything is flat.

Since you got one recently, may I ask how long it took to arrive after VB sent the package?

13 days for me

Wheels look great in this pic. Serenade?

Yes 65 in the back 60 in the front. 25 internal. I love them they ride great. I was worried they would feel harsh with the carbon spokes but they are super comfy and fast!

First holiday with the bike ;D I like it even more now. Despite the weight I like the way it rides and climbs.
I swapped my 10-28 cassette for a 10-33 to get a better bailout gear, but I didn’t need it yet tomorrow I will do a ride with some more climbing.

Turns out Mondince/Jack is no different to the other unreliable sellers. Infos and confirmations he's giving are useless and you can't believe his word.
I asked about lead time three times before ordering and he told me the frame is in stock and ready to be painted next day. Two weeks later, frame isn't painted and now he tells me it needs more extra time.

This was my experience as well, sadly..

Looks great! Are you liking the bars?

Some in here have theorized a shorter chain might help with the RD clearance. Did you try that? It looks like chain got shorter between some of your pics.

Yes I like the bars, they look a lot better than the velobuild ones. They are maybe a little more compliant but I don’t mind it I am not that heavy and don’t have a big sprint, I am more a big engine kinda guy or so I am told ;D

In my experience chain length doesn’t matter only b-gap, I first had a very short chain but I made it a bit longer because I swapped chainring size and bought another 10-33 cassette for holiday.

Is there a weight / quality difference between the Spcycle and Meinier frames? Has anyone weighed an XL frame with paint?

I don’t know maybe someone with more experience with both brands can you tell you more.
I went for Meinier because of the qc control issues with the spcycle forks. But the meinier one also wasn’t pretty but nothing to worry about.

What color is that? It's beautiful.

Thanks, it’s uhh purple ;D I just ordered from aliexpress so it’s called purple glossy. I don’t have a colorcode.

Nice build, enjoy your rides!

Have they made a change in design in the seat tube area already?
Look at the comparison between yours and mine.
Also, the clamping on yours is different from mine. Yours clamps with the two bolt on the back of the seatpost, mine has an inserted clamp.

Mine is a Meinier they have different seatpost clamp designs

I think it’s finished  ;D

I think it’s finished… for now. Maybe I will test it tomorrow.
