I ride a dropper and I love it.
It also has some suspension built in which is nice.
I could ride without all the roads and trails I do without, but it’s sometimes more fun with the dropper.
I guess it’s not a thing because it needs a round seatpost and aero posts are the big thing now.

They are very comfortable bibs but they are close to unusable to me now. No matter how good I wash them the straps start to smell horrible pretty soon. It's somehow related to the net like structure they have.
I've had countless bibs over the years and never had a any kind of smell problems I often have to neutralize the smell with vinegar.

I have bibs with this kind of strap as well and they are fine for me.

I do have a Rion.
The Dolomiti pad is a bit thin and the Lycra is a bit too soft. At least the leg bands are not too tight.

The YKYW that I have has a nice pad that is well placed in the bib. The Lycra is nice, similar support to the Darevie, I’d say
The leg bands are a bit tight for me.
I do have thick legs though.

I really like my Darevie bibs.
I have one with an EI pad and one with their in-house pad. I like both.
The Lycra is quite thick and supports well. The leg openings are as flexible as the rest and so not cut into the thigh.

A note: the HISERWA bibs look the same on the images. But are really not the same. Basic EI pad and very thin Lycra.

Hiserwa bibs

I am 192cm tall and weigh 85kg and was looking for bibs that are a bit longer than only about 2/3 of my thigh.
I do like my Darevie bibs and when I saw those Hiserwa bibs I thought I’ll try them.
They do look exactly like the Darevie ones, only longer. On top they have an Elastic Interface chamois.
They came and it’s a big disappointment.
The chamois might well be an original but it’s lower tier: hard, inflexible, thick, very spongy.
What made me return them was the fabric: it’s much thinner than the Korea Lycra of the Darevie, stretches only a little bit horizontally and hence there is no compression on my hips, thighs and legs.
Would not recommend.

Exactly.
I think toe overlap is a problem that does not actually exists.
If you are going very slow and turning a lot (think u turn) then this might be a case. Otherwise you won’t touch your wheel. And even if you do, just stop pedaling. It’s not a fixed gear.
My prefers road frame has a lot of overlap. I ride it still and I never ever had an issue with this.
I do love how it turns by itself which only happens because it has short wheelbase combined with steep head tube.

I have a couple chainrings that have vastly different noise levels and since it annoys me quite a bit, thought I share my experience.

I ride a 1 by GRX group set. Haven’t dropped a chain on either ring, even on bumpy single tracks.
The black anodizing rubbed off on all rings. Not really any difference there.

The original GRX chainring is fine. Minimal noise.

Passquest oval.
Looks good, nice machining.
More noise, but not by much.

I then switched to cranks with SRAM bolts.
ZRace round. Totally quiet.
Even more so than the GRX.

I’ve got a CSC wheelset as well.
The ratchet broke down after not too much mileage (and I certainly don’t put too much torque on the bike).
Three teeth sheared off.
Will have to replace with a new ratchet. Will go with a 18 teeth as well.

Do not get these.
Noisy from the beginning and the alloy axle developed play on the press it side after less than 200 km. They came in 160mm which is nice, and a slightly narrower Q factor. But they didn’t last.

I got them with a different pad. But that link has now this same pad here.
The fabric was a bit tight (but I have thick legs). The pad was ok (it was of the yellow gel 5D or something type).
The pad placement did not work at all for me. Way too far back.
I gifted them and the next person liked them well for long rides.

During my trip through the Netherlands I recogized a creaking of hell... first I thought it was the ZTTO BB (again) as the first bearing went down pretty fast.
But, no.
After serveral bearing changes and cup install and removal on the camp ground I my desperation grew.
In the end it was the crankset, particularry the pressfit from axle to crankarm.
Luckily I got some loctite with me and gave it a try and gave some drops from the axle side into the pressfit. Well, the loctite came out completly on the outside and there I knew...
Since then, totally silent even 500km later.
So if someboy is considering the getting the crankset, I would suggest to do it from start with high strength loctite.

I got an Evosid crankset as well.
It looked nice and all but after only a couple of rides the non drive press fit of the axle developed play and I had to take it out. There were also some markings in the aluminium axle itself.
Will not get another one of those after having returned them.

I had an Evosid crankset. Looked gorgeous and was light. Pain to crank to torque and be quiet. And then lasted three rides before developing play on the non drive side (which is permanently bonded to the axle). I do not have a lot of power so that was definitely not the issue.
Would not buy again.
Ordered a new set with a steel axle.
