In my case I hadn't adjusted the saddle in a few months and decided to change the positioning. The clamps had already settled in-place and just needed a slight whack to loosen it. Not a dealbreaker in my opinion since the clamp and seat post stay in-place once firmly tightened.
I have a question regarding this: at how many Nm did you tighten the upper clamp?
At approximately 4–5 Nm, the saddle's tilt changed; I have now tightened it to 6 Nm and hope that the tilt position holds.
