I use the handlebar on my titanium gravelbike with an karoo 2 and a plastic mount on single trails. Everthing seems fine :)

Since somebody was asking how rainbow colored white would like. Today i got the pictures

Having such a hard time deciding on colour.

First I wanted the chameleon 7207 but after seeing photos, it looks just white, hard to see the chameleon effect. Next i considered chameleon 07HS. I see different example photos in different lighting and love the burgundy look, but other photos it looks very dark and just black.

After seeing Hoogie's yellow Velar that inspired me to consider a yellow mango colour.

Or maybe a british racing green would look great  ;D

It's a difficult decision... if anyone has more examples of colours i listed feel free to share! would be greatly appreciated

I ordered my frame in Chameleon 7207, I should receive pictures of it in the upcoming two weeks. I will share them as soon I get them. I hope that might help a little

24 mm is the correct one for shimano cranks, remember to buy the correct tool for installation if necessary

They also offer flat top, dlc and tt chains, but you're probably talking about the regular x12 chains. So i will try those as well. Thank you for the feedback :)

Installed my ztto 10-33 12 speed to my wheelset just now.

Looks good so far. Lighter than the advertised weight (237 advertised and 207 on my kitchen scale).

Silent so far with my KMC 12 speed chain. There’s a bit of problem on shifting from 10-12 cogs but it also exists on my 105 cassette. Will check if it will still exist on my next bike and rule out hanger problem.

Which kmc 12 speed chain are you using (they have so many 😅)? I might try it for my upcoming bike

Metal Frames / Looking for a Chinese builder for custom steel frames
« on: November 07, 2025, 02:15:39 PM »
Hey everyone,

I just came across this beautiful Rune frame, and since I’ve recently finished my custom titanium build from Waltly, I was wondering if anyone knows of a Chinese manufacturer that offers custom steel frames?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Had a small start at the build tonight.

All going well - the rear brake cable was easy to install using a ZTTO internal guide tool, plus the storage opening made things even easier - especially when routing the foam liner down over the cable.
Headset bearings for anyone interested are MH-P16. I might get some black oxide versions from Aire Velo bearings next time around.
First disc build for me so interesting to see the little spacer that sits on top of the top headset bearing - very neat and allows easy routing of cables through.

Rubber di2 battery holder is a lovely addition - shaped perfectly for the seatpost and gives a very neat finish.

Next up is to plonk the bars on and try and figure out a stack height so I can cut the steerer and get the bars on there.

Some photos attached for reference including a clearer view of the storage area which caused a bit of concern in my last photo due to an optical illusion from the raw carbon finish - needless to say, all is perfect.

I’m currently trying to decide whether to order the frame with or without the storage compartment. Would it be possible for you to measure the storage box so I can check if my electronic mini pump would fit? Its dimensions are 70 × 57 × 31 mm and is there a rubber cover for the seatpost to protect from moisture? Thanks!

Hey together,
I ordered my 52cm Frame end of July and just asked Wendy about the timeframe. The frame is now in line for painting and will ready to send out end of October, unfortunately. :-\

Have also a half custom paint job in pearl white with the blue crystal on parts of the frame.

Your design looks awesome! If you don't mind, please share a picture of your frame after the paint job and your build-up :)"

Do you know of a similar "allroad" bikes for 50% road and 50% light gravel, UDH hanger and at least 38mm tyres, preferably as horizontal top tube as passible ;D

Maybe the carbonda CFR505-SL?

Has anybody tested it with SRAM XPLR 13-speed 10-46 yet? The last thing I read was that it uses something called 'UDH Mini,' which I had never heard of before.

I also wanted to order one, but unfornoturaly neither XL or XXL are available at the moment through lacking demand.  :'(

Thanks so much for your help! The geometry really looks great. I don’t want to sound nitpicky, and the frame actually has everything I need, but it’s just really ugly :P Do they make it with more traditional straight bike tube shapes? (My wife said it looks like it was designed by a drunk ;D) Or is there something similar out there? I really appreciate the quick help—I didn’t expect such a fast response.
