How does your paint quality hold up over time? I have some visible scratches here and there after 700km  :-\ This may be due to the choice of a semi-matt paint finish, I think  :'(

Switching the bolt to the opposite side and over-torquing it did the trick. Thanks.

I just discovered another issue with the paint "quality." After only 200 km, my handlebar bag caused this damage to my head tube. >:(
Should I cover/paint those areas? :-\

I will be more precise. While riding, especially on rough terrain, the saddle tends to tilt up or down (see the attached picture). It feels like the clamp in the seatpost isn’t holding it firmly enough.
Could this be a defect in the seatpost clamp system, or is there something I can adjust/tighten to fix it? Where to put that carbon paste exactly?

I rode the first 200km. Overall, I am delighted. That frame and bike are great, with those light wheelsets it is a killer  ;)
But...I experienced "seatpost slippage". Do you have any tips on how to resolve this issue?

Frame: Velobuild GF05 (XS)
Stem/handlebar: Velobuild 80/400
Groupset: SRAM Rival E1 XPLR Wide AXS (165mm)
Cassette: Rival XPLR 10-46
Wheels: Blackwire HyperWide 40 (1250g)
Tires: TUFO Thundero HD 700x44C
Saddle: RYET RT05 EVA
Weight: 7,95kg (without pedals, bottle cages, and computer mount)



Now it is time to hit the road and see how it rides, and make some final adjustments regarding the fit  ;D

I would not call this awful ;) It is a 60 $ paint job, so it is fine for this price. I just have a feeling that the last layer of satin/semi-matte varnish is missing. But maybe I am wrong. Overall, I'm happy that it is finally here  ;D

And here we go with another (XS size) frame that arrived today. Same feelings about the paint job - it was supposed to look like a satin/semi-matte finish, but it feels like it’s not finished ;) I also ordered bottle cages and a computer mount, but I haven't found them in my box. Maybe I will repaint it over the wintertime. We will see. Now it is time to finish that build first.
