Mission failed — the Leap part isn’t compatible with the Riderever Triva levers. It gets blocked at the blip insert. Too bad!

Hello everyone,
Thanks to your advice, I ordered and started assembling my VB-TT-023. However, I just ran into an issue while tightening the 4 bolts on the stem (the ones holding the handlebar). Chris had advised me to torque them to 5 Nm, but as a precaution I started gradually at 3 Nm and then 4 Nm, when I suddenly heard a sharp cracking sound. The lower part of the stem cracked at that point (see attached photo).
Has this already happened to anyone here?
Even when I first received the stem, I already found that the finishing quality wasn’t great…

I'm in the same situation as you, I just bought a Sram Rival RD (for a TT setup) and I'm looking for the best price/durability ratio. I saw Bigrock on aliexpress but no strong opinion on the pages.. If since the beginning of the topic you have sharpened this or that brand let me know!

Is it possible to have the contact details of the private seller? If by private seller you mean private individual I'm disgusted :( because I'm looking to acquire these brakes (Riderever Triva) that I found on Ebay but the seller doesn't ship to France and I don't have any contact in England (seller's location) to make a transfer to me.

I'm also currently building a 1X crankset with Sram and 165mm. I can't find a reliable site that has a crankset available with these specifications (Red, Force, whatever). Even used ones. They've become a rare commodity!
I had a question about road crank length vs. triathlon crank length. For road use, I'm using 170mm cranks, and I thought that to improve my drag coefficient and overall aerodynamics, it would be better to upgrade to 165mm cranks for my TT bike. What are your thoughts?

Terry from Winow informed me by email that a new TT frame has just been released (TT129).
It's already available in very limited quantities and sizes on AliExpress, and mass production is expected in 2 to 3 months, while the molds are finalized and production begins!

The first visible difference is the stem, which is flush with the frame and drilled (a bit like the Cervélo S5). I don't have any more information on the rest.

Unless someone chips in on your specifics, i'd be wary of going against Chris' advice. If the frame ends up being too large, you will have a very, very bad experience.

Thanks for your feedback, I followed Chris's recommendation and opted for the S size. It's always easier to lengthen a position than to shorten it! Thanks

I did completely customize the TT base bar though, by cutting out my ow from a 4 mm thick carbon sheet, which brought the arm rests further forward and further apart. I also custom-printed two 12 cm high, one-piece spacers, as I prefer a much higher upper body position (and yes, I used extra long high-grade steel M6 bolts rather than the included, shorter M5 bolts). And I added a custom, 3D-printed aero-shaped 2-gel nutrition box underneath the base plate.
