I ended up cutting a 2x6cm of FR4 and putting it on the flat part of the seatpost. fixed the slop

I've seen influencers peddling them on instagram. Not sure if that is a vouch of credibility though

I have an frame with a loose seatpost, i.e. there is around 1mm of slop when the clamp is loosened.

If I apply a thin coating of carbon grip and tighten the clamp to 9Nm (as stamped), the seat post still slips when I go over bumps.

Right now I apply a liberal heaping of carbon grip to both the seat post and the seat tube, then I do up the clamp. When I put weight on it I get a bit of squeeze out since there's so much carbon paste. What I do now is that I'll jump the bike to slam my body weight on the saddle and get all the excess to squeeze out, and then re-torque it. Will repeat this 2-3 times until no more squeeze out and it works like a charm.

When I remove the seatpost there is a 1mm thick layer of basically sand with a bit of gel (but it's quite dry, probably since all the "gel" was squeezed out).

Anyone try shimming or something else?

The headset alisa gave me had a too short compression ring, or the wrong bearings. I ended up swapping them for a different set of bearings, with a smaller chamfer so they sit higher.

I got a 3D-printed plastic base RYET ultimate with the cromoly rails for my commuter bike. The padding feels decent, probably a bit too soft but that's not really an issue compared to the saddle construction. The base material itself is insanely flexible, as in I can collapse the perineal cutout by just pressing on the sides. Sometimes it pinches my balls in between when I sit on it without bike shorts.

Needless to say I will be returning it.

Same here. My biggest sticking point are the tailfin-specific thruaxles. There isn't really much stopping me from machining custom thru axles other than having to give up a hex socket for less than elegant wrench flats :/

Coin test sounds all the same, I'm wondering if it could just be the pressure from my bike stand clamp cracking the paint when I was working on the bike?

Is the no drain hole something to be concerned about? Mine don't have drain holes 

Are garmins region locked? I have the opportunity to buy a garmin 530 or 830 for a lot cheaper than I can get here in Toronto, from China.

If I buy a chinese garmin that has chinese maps, can I just download a Canadian map set for it and change the language to english? Or are they region locked?

Maybe this is just me being paranoid.

I was flexing my handlebars after installing them just to test them out, and when I put force sometimes I will hear the faintest pop, which then doesn't come back, even with more force.

So far I've only put a fair bit of body weight on it so in theory it shouldn't be close to the failure point.

Do the grit particles crack or become "seated" with stress? This would explain why the noise doesn't come back, or am I snapping singular strands of carbon (which I don't think is possible)
