I am mainly disappointed about the max tire rear clearance with 2x being 45mm. Seems like a step backwards. Their older gravel frameset LCG071 fit 50 with a front derailleur.

Agreed but I do think that email response was on the very conservative side. Looking forward to see what can fit in the real world

Looking forward to your feedback.

Also hope they try to catch up with wider sizes.

It's arrived! Took a bit of a punt on the paint; Is it blue? Is it green? It's so preeetty!  Looks really tidy, paint is excellent, contact points have been nicely faced and everything was really packed. Looking forward to getting it built!

would love to see final build pics with this colour!

I'm keeping a close eye on any news release of this frame. So I too am wondering a complete bike could look .. Here my attempt of AI render.

damn, nice

They call it LCB-908GD / Crystal Effect [Purple]. I didn't get my frame yet but the pictures look pretty good. Custom paint is relatively expensive compared to how cheap the frame is. In total I paid almost double the base frame cost I think.

Would love to know more about the custom laser decals. Im told laser decals were oos and that custom decals were like 300 per sheet

I can't add a photo here. This is my bike, which I am still very satisfied with after 3000km.

So whats the info regarding the LCR019-D?  Will this available for purchase at some point?

Geo looks to be identical to the LCR018.  As I'm contemplating the LCR018 currently, I'm wondering if I should hold out for the 019.

I've no idea. Definitely wasn't meant to be shared with me and is likely for B2B only. I just wanted to bring it up for conversation/transparency purposes. It looks like they're coming out with a lot of frames over the next year.

Hello, where did you see that please ?

I received a different catalog than what Zealot posted in the LCR020 thread. It was marked as a B2B PDF so they might have sent it by accident.

has anyone recently tried to order the LCR018-D and what are the response times when communicating with LC?

I sent an email enquiry on sunday but didnt hear anything at all in 24 hours.  So I got the emails of Jim, Wendy and carol from this thread and sent them separately in the hope they will respond but I've still not heard anything yet.

I'm wondering if the demand of the LCR018-D is high so they are not as quick to respond.

Its a small operation so they're likely busy with the China Cycle Show going on now on top of being slammed with orders.

In addition to the new aero road bike, I've noticed that they're also coming out with non-eagle-eye versions of this frame and their new aero gravel. UCI compliance related?

Does anyone here think this frame has been in a wind tunnel? I've seen nothing that suggests to me that it has. Also, I don't give a hoot.

Yeah, I don't think anyone actually purchasing the frame believes it or cares.

They already included LCR018-D on their website.
https://www.lightcarbon.com/lightcarbon-aero-endurance-disc-brake-road-carbon-frameset-with-integrated-handlebar_p268.html#parentHorizontalTab022
Rider height, tire compatibility, chainrings references etc included.

Interesting they chose to spam "wind-tunnel optimized" everywhere in the product description.
