FYI i was in contact with Magene, asking me to send a video of assembling the crank.
I think the issue is the thread for the lock ring. It seems it is not finished properly and the locking can't go further and leaves a gap, especially compared to an image found here https://www.instagram.com/p/DBvHNNtvnd0/?img_index=3

I've purchased some months ago a p515, I wanted to install it today. I experience play in installing the spider, even with fully tightening the lock ring. Is this normal?

Same here. Failed to work with latest app from playstore (version 1.91). Found online that it works with 1.90 version of the app. Just look for the magene utility apk (if you are on android).

p515 uses 110 BCD and comes with crank arms. We are in the same boat. I also plan to get eR9 /eRX and want to combine it Magene P515 power meter.
