Polar and RK are sellers.
Polar and RK are not the same and they are not manufacturers.
Most's sellers claim to be the source manufactures aswell, l this is rarely the case and they are just sellers like most of the counterfeit sellers
Polar and RK appear to be selling the same product from the same source factory.

It sounds like RK Ultra is buying from First-Class (FC) and Polar claims they make their own?
Your bike is from Polar, IIRC? I ordered from them and they had an issue with the graphics melting or something. The order eventually auto-cancelled. I've followed up with them to re-order, but they've essentially ghosted me over the last few months. I was trying to get the same paint scheme you had ordered.

If Polar is getting their frames from the same place as RK, I'm a little concerned, after seeing InsaneTree's experience.

For those of you with the decals over the clearcoat. Polar had issues with the under-clear decals, to the point where they wouldn't ship my bike. It sounded like the curing, or heat, from the curing process was melting or otherwise deforming the decals. They said it was under control in late Jan, but I haven't heard back from them since. Polar is the only one who has proven to ship a quality frame with the under-coat decals on a V2, IIRC.

Polar cancelled my order back at the end of summer/early fall because they were having issues replicating the "Black" design with the darker decals. I've kept in touch and a month ago they said "production has now returned to normal". I went to contact them about placing an order and all products are removed from their store my message has been left on read for a few days. RIP Polar?

My order with Polar automatically refunded today due to not shipping in the set timeframe. About a week ago I followed up on the status and they said it was behind due to typhoon, then said there was a national holiday for 7 days. They said it would be here before end of Oct, so I agreed to proceed. Then the AliExpress auto-refund came through, which Polar didn't say anything about.

I followed up after the refund and they didn't seem to really care, then said they had issues with the dark graphics. They told me they could send me a different colorscheme frame that they had ready, which seems suspicious. Now they're saying "the black logo needs to wait for some time". At least one other person on here got the same graphics from them recently, so I'm unclear what's going on.

I got a good deal on the blue ceramicspeed from someone who immediately switched it out for a (black) DUB version, but I don't think there's any other way to get the blue one than to buy a bike from Factor. I've heard many times that the cheap Ali ceramic BBs aren't worth it, but for my other build I used a ZTTO non-ceramic BB that cost me $20 CAD and I couldn't be happier with it.

I'm going the same route. I'm going to build the bike with good parts regardless and save where I can. Likely getting wheels and saddle from aliexpress and keeping the rest legit.

I just received my wheelset today

1200g 4550 wavy marble with 25/34

Came in at 1235g

Delivery took 14 days to Germany with DPD

The package was slightly compressed by DPD, the wheels were fine.

Quality seems very good, only 2 minor inperfections that you don't really notice on the marvel finish

Did you guys use the rim tape that came with the wheels? Is it any good? I will run ridenow TPU Inner tubes

is that 14 days from order date? Not bad, if so.

Which T47A BBs are you guys getting for yours?

I'm also trying to figure this out. I think if you want the Blue Ceramicspeed you have to buy from Factor?

I just ordered my frame from Polar. Will update here when I have more to share.

Nice blue. Would you mind taking pics of the inside of the frame, via the openings of the BB & headset? Curious about what the layup looks like inside. Thanks!

Seconding this. I like how Taiwan Glory is supplying Black Inc rep bars, but also curious if they're any better than the "flimsy" ones supplied by other vendors.
I messaged Tom a while back and he said they weren't able to do the "Black" color scheme (naked carbon with the dark reflective decals).

Also: Polar denied getting their frames from the same factory as others listed here (take that with a grain of salt) and did confirm "imported T800+m30 carbon" whatever m30 is.
Taiwan Glory (Tom) did offer the $750 direct-pay (no aliexpress) price to me.

A frame from Polar is definitely one I’d consider and it should come integrated bars and seatpost.

However, I wouldn’t buy a wheelset from vendors like these. The counterfeit sets often come with Novatec hubs rebranded as something else, and they typically use standard-weight carbon rim layups to cut costs, which makes them heavier. There are plenty of threads on here discussing high-quality wheelsets from reputable OEM factories, so it's worth doing your homework before buying.

Thanks for the info. Yeah Polar sent me photos of their barstem combo, but I really liked the feel/fit of the Black Inc bike I demo'd. I'll have to dig around for that separate, it seems.
I think I'm between Polar and Taiwan Glory, just waiting on their barstem info and cost.

I've been chatting with three vendors for a V2 frame for a few days. Polar, First Class, and one I got in a TikTok feed randomly. I'm looking for the "Black" color scheme (raw carbon + darker 'laser' logo). All three vendors provided ~7 photos, including shots inside the seat tube and inside the bottom bracket.

Polar sent me photos of a complete bike & frameset (the complete were photos Samba88 posted lol) in the color scheme I asked for, but said they're unable to provide weight for the 58|48 wheelset and have been dragging their feet on photos. Frame price is ~$1k USD + ~$130 shipping. I'm unclear if this includes the barstem, as it wasn't pictured with the frame. Gearset seemed around MSRP, so I'll probably stick to a frame+wheelset and buy that elsewhere. Not sure I fully trust them to send an authentic gearset. Polar also confirmed they'd supply the seat post gasket.

First Class provided photos of their 58|48 wheelset, but just had photos of a black painted frame with silver laser logos. They said they could do the style I wanted, though. They have not followed up in over a day on pricing.

TikTok vendor (unsure on their name) provided photos of a raw carbon frame with black graphics, but said they're "Customizable". They were asking $1k for the frameset (and barstem/seatpost) including customs/duties/shipping. They are asking $680 USD for the wheelset and provided some photos of just the rims.

Curious if anyone has recommendations on where to find the 58|48 wheelset and proper BlackInc barstem?
