And another fact that may be overlooked is the more vertical integration of Chinese companies.
its way more easy for them to implement smaller iterations over a product cycle. and then rename it (t1500, t1550, t1600..)

if you look at BEV car development, its very similar. Chinese brands push out new models/updated models like eggs on a chicken farm.

on my road bike I set up my wheeltop GEX 1x12
running it with a Goldix 10-44 12sp cassette and flattop chain.
smooth running.

and yes I also have the edsTX version, but converted completely to 1x on RR and GR
btw i have the GEX paired to Shimano Ultegra calipers (works well, bit smoother)

now to edsTX...the front derailleur is a bit weak in terms of moving the chain under power.
and if you experience some weird ghost shifting on your rear der. , I did find 1 possible culprit.

you have the mounting screw and kind of underneath the "radial" linkage which mounts to your hanger.
if you tightened the screw and there is still a lot of wiggle/waggle movement, then maybe the O-ring underneath is worn.
I managed to squeeze in a new O-ring and it sits tight again...no more ghost shifts.

concerning your FD fine-tune attempt....you need kind of clearence from wheeltop to be able to enter fine-tune for the FD.
So they have to grant the access for your account. but this only takes an Email...easy
connecting the group to your advice...have you tapped on the bluetooth icon...otherwise it won't connect.

i do like it very much. as of cycleX ...I am no expert in this special discipline...I did some X with my MASON Bokeh years ago.
but nevertheless the Altera is versatile: I also rode it with 35mm slicks on the road and it has mounting ports for a rack for bike packing. my only small complaint are those bento-boxes for storage...imo too small to put "real" items in as the opening cut out is quit narrow, so you might struggle to get your things out again.

I just finished the build during these dark winter days...so not much to say. but as I own 2 more wheeltop groups I am very used to this kind of group/setup.

Compared to wheeltop the new Rotor Hoods/Shifters are quit a bit larger and more pleasant for larger palms.
btw funny...both sides do have 2 shifter buttons.
and the rear derailleur also is refined with a nicer charging port.
brake calipers are the same 2nd gen wheeltop.

shifting setup was easy:
initial setup tune for the 1st gear and from there the rest shifted perfect with the SRAM force 13sp.
the only thing you need to make this work with 13sp on the UDH frame (plus XPLR cassette) is a custom UDH hanger for standard mount derailleurs.
