I paid for my order on July 1, and the delivery times provided by LC are:
5-6 weeks frame construction
3-4 weeks painting

Last week, I received a message saying that the frame is in the final stage of painting.
I hope it will be shipped soon

And I’m pretty sure it’s the bottom bracket, because the higher the quality of the BB, the less it creaks. With the one from LC Genuya—or whatever it’s called—it happened on every pedal stroke, regardless of the wattage I was putting out.

Are you using a crank from a brand other than Shimano or SRAM? Maybe that's the problem.

Or what would you guys say is a good, fair priced T47 BB for Shimano gear?

maybe TOKEN BB47V24? It comes with spacers on both sides for 85.5 mm. It looks like this will prevent it from digging into the carbon, which was your problem. Token claims to have premium bearings.

Seat post length - is it normal to cut it shorter ?
I am 176cm with slightly shorter than average legs, got size 52. The saddle seems to be 10-15mm above what I have on my way too large bike, and it is almost all the way down. I can feel mushiness from the gear power cables.
80cm inseam and 176cm height

BTW: mine was paid May 23rd. Delivered yesterday to Denmark. Got tracking number July 29th (got it a day earlier from local postal service).

I was told 1 month of production + approx 20 work days for painting. So about 2 months total. It took 2 months and a couple days before I got photo.  So close to estimate.

Too bad they did not have preferred bar size made at the same time / reserved.

HOW HIGH is your seatpost from the bottom bracket to the top of the saddle?

This is my head tube to dust cover gap (looks to be approx 1.5mm) which appears similar to the previous couple of posters and seems larger than expected. This is with the top handlebar cover torqued down to 6Nm and there’s no free play at all. Can any other builders confirm if this is normal and if it’s something’s to worry about?

Was there any play before? 6 nm is a lot for a top cap. The spacing looks large, though I don't think it's a big problem.

Does anyone have a solution for testing the bike with spacers on top of the stem? I want to test different spacers before I cut the fork. 3D print "above the stem spacers" of 5 and 10mm?

Just install standard 1 1/8" spacers and a standard, round top cap above stem.

I have the BSCOBBER A5 mini from Ali Express, bought for $25 CAD and currently listed for sub $40 CAD. I leave it in the bike and use only when stuck on the side of the road. Works fine as an emergency pump. I then have a large electric pump I keep with my tools to inflate the tires pre ride.

I see that you also have a crack, paint chip in the upper right corner of the storage. Maybe it's just the quality of the photo, I can't see it clearly. This issue was reported a few pages back.

It looks great, and the weight is good, too.
 Can I ask what height you have your saddle set to from the center of the bottom bracket?

What torque setting do you use for the bottom bracket? The Lightcarbon manual recommends 25 nm, but the bottom bracket often has a recommendation of 35–40 nm written on it.

i've done much more than that. The top cap is unique, in that you can technically loosen it after you've tightened the stem bolts so it's under tension for mere minutes. I've done 12 nm on the compression plug (only ever do that if the steerer / plug is pushing against the stem, obviously), then tighten the column like an animal by tightening the top cap, tighten the stem bolts, and loosen the top cap. Once you understand how the steerer column works (took me a while), it works. At least it makes sense in my head. But as someone pointed out recently, i have brain rot.

Tightening the top cap compresses the bearings. After tightening it to 6 Nm, does the handlebar turn freely? I'm worried that the bearings might be compressed too tightly. Of course I know how the steering column compression works. Maybe it's some kind of mechanism I'm not yet familiar with?  maybe there's a reason for it, I'll just follow the instructions.

speaking of tightening seat bolts, it's nice a sheet with torque specs was included with the LCR018.  i didn't get one with any of my other bikes i bought new (litespeed, felt, specialized) although they probably could be found online in a pdf... but still i think it is nice for light carbon to include it in the box.

Don't you think tightening the top cap to 6 Nm is too much? Based on my experience, it seems like too much to me. How much torque do you guys use when tightening it?

Hi, I just wanted to make sure. Is it okay to mount a GRX Di2 2x12 on this frame? I’m thinking, for example, about the front derailleur mounting height (smaller chainrings like 46/30, 48/31), the chainline, and the GRX axle length. :)
