::)I am going through the process of researching my new build and narrowed it to 2 frames, the TT119 and the BXT219 (a ton of frames have been ruled out because of my size, 6'4, I need a 58)

I have my heart set on a mono riser cockpit and arm rests such as the tideace kairos or similar. I have 2 options:

1. Because of the stem on the TT119 I would have to get a 31mm handlebar with clearance around the stem to mount the tideace kairos with adapter for joining to 31mm handlebars (pic attached).

2. The 219, which I like the frame more, has a 51mm clearance on the steerer tube, and the Meinier hb-s70 will bolt straight on to the tube. However, I can't find the vertical size at the clamp end anywhere. Does anyone have this and can confirm the size?

Also, has anyone for experience putting a mono riser on either of these frames and can give me some suggestions??

Thanks

I am building the TT119 frame with the HB052 basebar (haven't bought anything yet).

I want to add the tideace Kairos arm rests as I like the mono riser design.
To do this I would need to remove the clamp and bolt them directly to the basebar. Does anyone know what the spacing is between the two stack mounting points?

I have attached the measurement I'm looking for as well as the adapter I need to fit so people know what I'm talking about

I am building a new TT bike and saw on ican's insta they can hand paint frames (just browsing, I'm leaving towards tantan).
The guy peaked my interest with a custom paint job frame and I'm wondering if others have done this and can share what sort of designs you got?

I don't mean choose colors, this guy was using a brush and drawing lines, flowers etc

These brands need to quit doing so much with these tt frames. Give us a pretty basic but sleek looking frame with modern TT geometry. Throw in an adjustable front end with a stem/integrated base bar that isn't crap and I'm sure more people would be interested.

I am really curious what aero testing they do in developing the frame? Or they just come up with something that looks cool. That's my major concern with buying one]

Hello, I am new to the forum and interested in this frame as I really like a mono riser and it's the only one I can find in size 58.

Can I get some help with 2 questions:

1. Are there any other options that are mono riser and size 58 that I should consider?

2. I have read through this thread and it appears the winow cockpit does not fit without adaptations?? I am moderately handy with bikes (I can build my own). Are the adjustments required to get the winow extensions on something a home mechanic can do?

Thank you
