I've only ridden very boring looking bikes so I'm a little apprehensive now about it being more of a looker and having people talk to me as I'm an amateur, overweight rider as well as a bit of an introvert! My Gineyea is installed and bike fully assembled. I posted a pic of the finished bike earlier in this thread. No more close up dimensional pictures! I do have an unused tool for a 50mm T-47.

U just installed it with normal wrench on hand feel?
I did install BBs before on aluminium frames by feel but not carbon ones. Scared to make dent to frame.

Finally finished my LCR018 in black and silver tones.

Components:
•   Frame in size 54 raw carbon glossy finish with inframe storage
•   HBR17 handlebar (400 * 100 mm)
•   Serenade wheels, Model TAR50WS (25 mm inner 31 outer), 50 mm deep, SR278C Hubs
•   30 mm Michelin MICHELIN Pro 5 with TPU tubes
•   105 di2 groupset, 11-34 T 12 speed cassette, direct mount for rear derailleur
•   Basic Gineyea BB
•   Magene TEO with 170 mm carbon crank arm and Passquest 50-34 T
•   160 mm VXM rotor in front, 140 mm in the back
•   Cheap bottle holder (that I might change because it hinders the opening mechanism of the storage door), cheap bar tape and cheap rear lamp all from aliexpress
•   Ryet 3D saddle
•   Onirii carbon pedals

Build was quite straight forward nothing too complicated. I did use foam sleeve tubes for the brake hose.
8.5 kg as pictured (with pedals, wahoo and all my repair kit in the frame).

I did a small test ride. There is a small rattle sound but I feel it comes from the inner storage, I need to investigate. No seatpost or saddle slippage (I did put anti slip carbon grease though). My only complaints is the saddle bolts that are so difficult to tighten and the gap between the frame and the first spacer. That glossy finish is also quite fragile I already have some scratches due to chain drops or small shocks when building the bike. Finally I might redo the bleeding on my Shimano brakes because I feel the feeling can be improved.

I might change for a lighter cassette and also the saddle but other than that it is pretty much spot on.

Can i ask a question as i just ordered mine LCR018-D.
Does BB come preinstalled in frame?
Cause it's basically only part i can't install myself.

I'm in the final stages of putting together my order from LightCarbon and wanted to get your opinion before I pull the trigger.

My old bike was a Bergamont Grandurance RD7 in size 58, which actually fit me quite well. However, it was more of a commuter bike rather than a proper endurance bike.

I've now decided to go with the LCR-018D in size 54. For the handlebar, I'm planning to use a 400 x 100 mm setup (400 mm handlebar width / 100 mm stem).

A bit about me:

Height: 180 cm
Inseam: 82 cm
Shoulder width: 40 cm

My old bike also had a 400 mm handlebar with a 100 mm stem, which felt quite comfortable for me.

Do you think this setup makes sense for my measurements and the LCR-018D in size 54? I'd really appreciate hearing another opinion before I place the order.

Carefull with reach as hbr17 handlebar has 75 cm reach. I lowered my stem from 110 to 90 as my current handlebar is 50 cm reach so need to shorten it 20 mm. Effective reach is ez way of translating what stem u need from one bike to another.


In other news Wendy confirmed size 54 can stack to 675 mm height (60 mm in headset spacers and 46 mmin handlebar added on 569 stack) to handlebars so it can achieve mine required height of 655 mm i have on my current bike. Tbh i heard u can have some extreme riser handlebars like from Tavelo with 20 mm risers if u need height ( does look horny  ). So rn its 99% size 54 frame for me.

I do have shoulder width 42 cm but i went with 400mm handlebars a bit more tucked in to test it.

For anyone following. I got a reply from Wendy stating that the delay was due to the HBR17 size I ordered, stock needed to be manufactured first.
With that said, I opted for a wider but similar stem length, the entire assembly is being shipped now and waiting for a tracking #.

Kudos to Wendy for offering 2 BC11 bottle cages for my troubles. I am happy with LC's customer service especially coming from an overseas market.

Does anyone know if they mount BB on bike frame before sending or do you need to mount it yourself? I have torque wrench up to 25nm and i think T47 is 30-40Nm needed?
I guess trip to mechanic is needed for this

Lurking around in this topic for a while, as i have LCR018-D on my wishlist for next bike.

I am currently in ordering phase and doing some details with their staff over e-mail.

Just interested can anyone suggest about size 54 or 56 as currently i am on Focus Culebro SL 2.0 2014(i think this is model 99% sure) and recently had a bike fit with my current bike.
According to his bike fit my reach to handlebar is 495mm and stack is 575mm and i have 655 mm height to handlebars (80 mm stacked with spacers) - i measured stack and total height so could be up n down a bit.
Saddle height is 785 mm so just interested no idea if i'm missing smth with size 54 with saddle height also.
Right now i have it size 54 with 100mm stem and 8mm added stack (according to their specs in mail).
It is shorter in height but i assume relaxed geometry will give similar position or should i just go size 56 to have more flexibility in height and reach is very similar.
I am 185 mm height with shorter legs and inseam of 81 mm (longer torso and shorter legs).
First bike i bought was 2 big for me (bike fitter shortened my stem from 110 mm to 60 mm) so just scared about going 2 big again.
