TruckRun RN04 hub motor
Pros:
- Fits most thru-axle bikes.
- Can keep front derailleur and crankset, Q-factor.
- Torque sensor works okay. No 'ghost pedaling'. But I think the assist levels are based on speed limits where the motor cuts out, e.g. Lvl 1=25km/h, 2=30km/h, 3=35km/h, 4=40km/h, 5=45km/h, so they don't actually change the ratio of assist to your pedaling force.

Cons:
- Only 250W. Can only reach around 28 mph with a fair amount of pedaling power.
- A lot of drag without motor assist.
- I put on a 36V 10.5Ah battery so range is only 30-40 miles.
- You need to build the hub into a wheel rim.
- Has a Shimano HG 11/12 speed road freehub, so no SRAM XD/XDR or Micro Spline.

ToSeven DM02 500W mid-drive motor
Pros:
- Fairly powerful, and utilizes rear gearing. Can reach 28+ mph.
- I put on a 48V 20Ah battery so range is 70+ miles.
- The torque sensing works a bit better. You can change the ratio of assist.

Cons:
- Can only install on aluminum or steel bikes with a 'full tube' BSA bottom bracket shell and narrow chainstays for clearance from the motor gear.
- Q factor very wide at ~200mm plus I had to use a 16mm pedal extender on the left to even them out.
- Need to use special 1x chainrings made for the motor.

Overall I like the TruckRun RN04 better. You can put it on nicer bikes like a carbon road bike, and can keep your drivetrain and crankset with the same Q-factor. It also looks a bit more discrete than the ToSeven DM02 mid-drive. Actually I upgraded this bike with a carbon crankset and wheels to bring the weight down to 12.6 kg/27.8 lb with battery & motor.

Hi
You said that the motor drag is high. Is this true?
Thanks

Hi
Did you assemble the wheel?
How is the motor drag?
Thanks

I have built a set of MTB wheels with these hubs. They are 2-cross (the 24-hole version anyway)

Hi
Which spokes calculator did you use?
What geometry/dimensions drawing dis you use?
Thanks in advance.

My 1136 got delivered  a week ago and I just had it built up!

Size medium, I had the frame painted through Carbonda. The paint job came out incredible. The "black" is UD Glossy Carbon, the exposed carbon layup looks awesome and really shimmers in the sun. The white is "pearl white" and has a nice glitter effect to it.

Here is a link to my unboxing https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFBww_SPnmf/?igsh=MWRmeHAybXRqb3hr

I've linked some pictures below, heres the best pic i have so far https://imgur.com/ebcWA6d.

Weight came in at 7.7 kg w/o pedals.

Really happy with it so far. I used the carbonda supplied bar/stem and Carbonda headset. My only issue atm seems to be the gap between the steerer and the bottom of the headtube? Did others experience this large of a gap, did my mechanic do something wrong? SEE "Steerer Gap" attachment for photo

Do you solved the steerer gap?
What are you impressions about the tiding with it?
Nice to hear from you.

Thanks
How much did it cost?
Whichi email did you use to contact them?
Thanks…

They're almost certainly using the same factory for the fork at the very least.  Frame may indeed be different factories. I think this is the same 'Taiwanese' (probably nothing to do with Taiwan at this point) clone seller with loads of shopfronts on AliExpress. The quality of their frames is usually significantly higher than TanTan.

Thanks…
Then safer to buy "Taiwanese" product?

Hi
How can I get a quotation from TanTan Sports?

https://taiwaneisen.cc/product/cannondale-supersix-lab71-2/
This website sells the same Frameset?

Regards.
